The Magician is the second card in the major arcana. It is represented by the number 1.The Magician is the master of his own destiny. He is at one with himself and all creation. He symbolizes new beginnings and the ability to take the initiative of any project. He also signifies creative work and training focus on a goal. The Fool represents the leap into action and the Magician represents the actual start. We will interpret the meanings of the Magician relating to different situations at as we go along.

The Magician is represented by the number 1 which represents uniqueness, individuality and innovation. The Magician encourages us to take action and to sieze every opportunity that comes our way. ------------------

the magician is ruled by mercury in astrology and therefore it's more to do with communications. someone sweet talke, very friendly amicable and may have a 'touch' of magic about them...in the obstacle position in Celtic cross (2nd card) communications are a problem or someone is literally just telling you what you want to hear. Watch out for trickery slight of hand or someone pulling the wool over your eyes.. as an outcome card (10th) magician suggests planning, movements communications. Creating someone via communications but not yet ready to move forward. ------------------

Thank you for your input SaggiMCI mentioned in a previous post that we will be taking a detailed look at the Magician and all the meanings of this card in future lessons. For now we are learning the general meaning. ------------------

Hey I never knew that. Thank u for posting this. I always thought it meant ur creativity was blocked or one can't access their individuality when in that position for that spread. I'll keep that in mind for future reference. And great thread btw. I keep reading all these.
