Sun (Scorpio): Fixed
Moon (Gemini): Mutable
Asc (Capricorn): Cardinal

My Moon is inconjunct my Ascendant (~1.25 degrees), and there are no other aspects between the luminaries and the Ascendant (or each other).

Question, some people count the inconjunct as a hard aspect, but some people seem to disregard this aspect as moderately unimportant. Would it count as a hard aspect in this case or not?

alcheme,

The quincunx is an aspect of "adjustment" and so is in between a soft and hard aspect. However, I don't use the quincunx when determining whether or not a planet is "aspected" or "unaspected" so it sounds like your Moon is unaspected (only one quincunx aspect made to the Moon and the Moon has not soft or hard aspects to any other planets).

More about other aspects in Step 6 below.

Aspectfully,

Tim

Thanks for your quick response!

I may have not stated myself clearly... The lack of aspects I was referring to were between my Sun, Moon, and Ascendant (other than that quincunx). My Moon actually a couple of aspect to my other planets. Sorry for the confusion!

Libra Asc Cardinal
Aries Sun Cardinal
Taurus Moon, Fixed, singleton and unaspected, yay me

Sun conjunct Venus and Mars, opposed Asc and Pluto. I rest my case.

Exactly maira! And it's usually best for everyone because of the excellent sense of judgement associated with a Libran ascendant... Quite... (flutters eyelashes)

Sun: Leo (fixed)
Moon: Aquarius (fixed)
Asc: Virgo (mutable)

My sun is in the 11th house, and my Moon is in the 6th. I'd say it helps smooth things over at least a bit.

Sun - mutable
Asc - mutable
Moon - mutable

All these mutables makes me changeable, adaptable and restless.

Sun: Mutable
Moon: Cardinal
Ascendant: Cardinal

Sun sextile Moon, Sun and Moon don't make major aspects to Ascendant ( Jee I wonder what that means?)

Sun - fixed (aquarius)
Moon - fixed (Scorpio)
Asc - cardinal (capricorn)

I understand fixed = stubborn/difficulty with change, but isn't cardinal beginnings or action?

Okay.. I am very interested in learning and am a novice at this.

I even pulled up my chart on astro.com but couldn't find how to tell what you are asking about.

Sorry for the lag, but any advice?

I'm...

Virgo Sun
Cancer Moon
Sagi ASC

oooooooo okay I think I got it!

Tell me if I'm wrong..

My Sun (Virgo) is Mutable
My Moon (Cancer) is Cardinal
My ASC (Sagi) is Mutable

yes?

Question.. if my Sun sign is mutable and my Moon sign is Cardinal.. would that be why I'm so much more like my Moon sign then my Sun? Cancer seems to apply more to me then Virgo...

Cedarma,

Yes, "Cardinal" is the same as "Action". One system I have found very useful is to think of Cardinal, Fixed, and Mutable as "Action", "Security", and "Learning". More about this method at Step 4 in the web site attached to this post.

Acting,

Tim

Crimson,

You asked:

quote:
if my Sun sign is mutable and my Moon sign is Cardinal.. would that be why I'm so much more like my Moon sign then my Sun?

I think you need to take a look at the entire chart to see where the strongest patterns are.

Looking at the whole chart,

Tim

Sun Scorpio (Fixed)
Moon Scorpio (Fixed)
Asc Gemini (Mutable)

My Ascendant is easily "brainwashed" by my stubborn Sun and Moon conjunction
