Question for Discussion–Does Moon Oppose Pluto “Cause” Bi-Polar Disorder(Manic Depression) I have had this discussion with several people who had Moon oppose Pluto and were diagnosed with Bipolar Disorder. I know that not all people with moon opposed to Pluto have this unfortunate malady. That goes without saying in discussions such as these. However, on the other hand, it is remiss not to look at possible “causative” factors in this(or any other psychiatric condition). We, as astrologers, are in a unique position to have our hand on the pulsing heart of life. We have a gift unequaled in all the sciences, both hard and soft, in my humble opinion. The chart is God’s map to each human being who is born on this earth. It is from that perspective that I continue this article. The Moon is one’s deepest heart. It is the most sensitive part of the person. When people share intimacies, they share moons. Falling in love is child to child: or moon to moon. With this in mind, picture the powerful Pluto which can be represented by the oceans tides. They flow, unbridled. They may be violent. They may be gentle. One thing is for certain. They cannot be stopped. All of us are primal people, even the most refined and rarefied creature has a part of himself which can be reduced to primal passions. Think Shakespeare. Hence, we can get a sense of how powerful Moon opposed Pluto may be. The opposition aspect is a literal see-saw. One goes to one end of the pole and back to the other, just as one goes up and down, on a see-saw. Hence, the native is pulled from side to side, by an inexorable force, it seems. With this picture in mind, one can see how a disorder such as Bi-Polar Disorder may be a picture of Moon/Pluto. Thoughts anyone? ------------------ Want To Ask Any Question About Bible Prophecy? If anyone has Moon oppose Pluto, I would love to talk with you about how you feel this opposition, so we all can learn. There is no greater teacher than the native with the aspect. Any comments are welcome, even if you don't have it, too!

I have Moon opposite Pluto. In fact, my Moon falls in the 8th, which makes it all the more Plutonian. I may believe it is Karmic for the aspect orb is only one minute; it is my most powerful aspect. I may be bipolar but no one has ever told me. Most likely because I've never shared my emotions with most people in the first place. My Moon also falls in Gemini so it makes this probability even more evident. I am very emotional and my emotional context changes rapidly. Whether it be depression, anger, happiness, love; it floods in within seconds and that is the only emotion I feel, and I feel it POWERFULLY. My mom wasn't abusive in any way. I had suffered psychological abuse from my dad though. The positive relationship with my Mom may be due to how my Moon has so many Trines and is unafflicted. ------------------ Aquarius Sun, Merc, Venus, Uranus, Neptune Scorpio Mars conj. I honestly take a lot of pride in this aspect, for it allows me to sink in beneath the surface and explore hidden depths that I would otherwise be unable to explore with just my air placements. Just imagine all this Plutonian energy mixed in with Uranian energy Anyways, another difficulty with this aspect is learning how to keep one's emotions under control. I constantly find that my emotions become so powerful that I am instantly overwhelmed by them and have to resort to some sort of physical release in order to deal with it. Honestly, I would only expect other Plutionian Moon people to actually understand this difficulty, for those without much Pluto couldn't understand such a difficulty (trust me, I have tried before). I resort to creative realms such as writing, artistry, music, etc in order to deal with my emotional context. It is the perfect way for me to release my emotions in a constructive manner. I also am in Martial Arts, which is a perfect form of physical exercise that allows for me to deal with this outrageous emotions. ------------------ Aquarius Sun, Merc, Venus, Uranus, Neptune Scorpio Mars conj. It definitely isn't all bad. Very intense yes, but not all bad. Often I will conceal my emotional reactions from the outside world because they can be seen as extreme. ------------------ Scorpio Ascendant Aquarius Sun in 4th Gemini Moon in 8th Check out my blog ya'll: www.electrodgxtalks.wordpress.com IP: Logged |

Yea, telling a joke is very intimate, I think. It transcends the social niceties and goes to a primal level. It is really taking a chance lol ------------------ Want to Read Simple, Fun,Sexy Articles on Astrology? Check Me Out, DUDE. http://www.mychristianpsychic.com/
