Just found this post as I am studying chiron with my sister right now...She has Chiron retrograde in her 8th house. She is extremely healing as a psychic and astrologer, funny enough. She can look at someone's chart and understand ALL the pain they've been through in an instant. She somehow draws it out of them and sheds a soothing light on it. She's had pain in her life, but I see this aspect in retrograde as a sign that she is utilizing it to help others - it is one of the most important focal points of her life (her ability to empath/see beyond). I have chiron retrograde in my 4th. I did without doubt suffer some pain in my childhood I won't get into, and I'm endlessly aware of that. However, I spend whatever days off I have taking care of friends' children - I have a soothing effect on children; I know I am a born nurturer. Also animals, if that counts, lol. My boyfriend has chiron rx natally in his 7th -- ALSO retrograde. He has been devastated in past relationships to the point that he stopped believing he would ever be loved. I had to prove my love to him over and over again for a very long time before he (I think ) believed me. So, my question: we have a lot of chiron in our synastry, but both of our chirons are retrograde. I have seen us both be healing for the other. He recognizes me as a great mother to his kids if we ever wind up having them. I feel healed often from him in terms of my insecurities in love. We both tend to 'sooth' one another. Does this make the chiron connections a little easier? We do have chiron squares with venus and mars, at very wide orbs. We have certainly had to fight for one another in our relationship. My chiron only trines and sextiles any planets of his though - and my chiron falls into his 7th house with his retrograding chiron. Just curious. I'm not running, btw. He and I have been through too much at this point for me to just bail on him. I have a hard time expecting this one to BOOM though. IP: Logged |

It's a good sign if he sees you as a mother to his future children. And you already know how good it is that he helps alleviate your insecurities.IP: Logged |

Chiron in Taurus conjunct a friends Moon in Taurus 29 Degrees and opposite their Venus, trine their Mars.We got very close, very quickly within a short period of time(1 month). And then they slept with someone I was dating at the time(that same year) and talked some nasty stuff behind my back(also that same year). I felt betrayed by them and as a result the closeness we had was compromised. We can never return to what we were and even when we talk now and then, its not the same. We just drifted apart. I guess we were two different people and it was not clear when we first met. I find it curious though that most astrologers say that Chiron-Venus can feel like "true love"? It does feel amazing when its good, but its too hot not to cool down(with friendship too). IP: Logged |
