I am a high strung Gemini. and an earth void, too. I have Sun, Mercury and Venus in Gemini in the 9th House. I have found ways to soothe my soul. I will share them and then, please, tell me yours. Tell me your sign and placements, too.1. Work in the dirt Touching the dirt is soothing. I don’t know why or how exactly. The earth does have a magnetic vibration. When I worked for one of the top holistic doctors, he had all sorts of interesting gadgets. One was a band that you put around your waist. It simulated the earth’s magnetic frequency. I suppose touching the dirt does the same. I have a big garden that surrounds my house. If I work in the garden for a few hours, my whole body relaxes. 2.Music Music is known to calm the soul. It allows one to express the deepest sorrows, as well as the most profound joys. One can do it without words and as such one can speak the language of one’s soul. Playing the guitar will calm me. Singing will do the same. 3. Kundalini Yoga Kundalini yoga employs the Hatha yoga postures but adds the breath. The Kundalini Yoga breathing techniques can really calm a frazzled nervous system. My favorite is the Dog pant breath, which I have worked up to 25 minutes, non stop. You get a great natural high after doing this 4. Doing a Passion I love doing charts. It calms me down and gets my mind focused on others. It allows me to give and in giving, we receive. Find your passion by what you would do for the pure pleasure of it. 5. Writing I love to write. Writing fiction soothes and heals my soul the most. When I am done, I will usually have embraced a part of me that I cast off. Feeling whole is feeling calm. 6. Studying the Bible This never fails to give me peace. I have my favorite teacher, Kenneth Hagin. He soothes my soul like no other. He has had 4 NDEs( near death experiences). Hagin has traveled to the other side. They say man’s greatest fear is death. Hagin makes one have some sort of a peace with death and as such soothes the soul. 7 Hugging Hugging someone you love gives an instant peace. 8. Being close to an animal I love to be next to my dog. She is a Yorkie. When she sits on my lap, my body relaxes. They say that we have entrainment of hearts with other living beings. The dogs have a peaceful heartbeat and so it calms you down. 9. Cooking Cooking can be peaceful such as when you make a soup or something that is nourishing. 10 Reading Reading puts you into your own world where you can travel anywhere and visit anyone. It is one of the most nourishing experiences to one’s soul, in my opinion. I look forward to hearing from you. Please, tell me your Sun placement and any other placements you care to share and how you soothe your soul! ------------------ Want To Ask Any Question About Bible Prophecy? Go For it. I have Sun in Aquarius. I'm a Water Void. From what you said about being an Earth Void and finding peace working with the earth, I have a theory. I think that if you are void of an element, then being near that element is soothing. I say this because being near water is really soothing for me. I think that the place I have found more peace than any other is sitting on a rock a few feet away from a large waterfall and feeling its mist. Being near any body of water is really calming for me, especially if there are rocks involved. It makes me feel in tune with nature. The animals that I love to watch most are birds. There is something very calming about them as well. Music is amazing. Singing and dancing as well as simply listening are all really great. Passions and hugging also. Speaking is also really calming. It helps to just be able to say everything that is on your mind. It makes everything seem more approachable. IP: Logged |

Beautiful post!I love doing all of the things mentioned. From both of you. The nature is my nr 1. Stones, trees, water, dirt,, rain, wind, sun, actually a totaly still sunny day is more stress then a stormy day. But that is because my inner stress gets visible then. I also like vowing(veawing?), painting, clay ,hama beads, and all sorts of creative expression, to get the feelings out, so i can calm down. Also i use toning, making sounds and feeling what sound my body needs to fill up with. Or get out. Saying slowly the abc, or other old asian methods. And rolling every knockle in the body. From feet to head, both left and right. The qi gong warm up. Im capricorn sun Pisces moon Libra ac
