I discover my asteroids through use. I read the myths or the stories and I try to apply them to everyday life. What good is an esoteric tome from which one cannot extract practical wisdom? As such, I would describe the Madhatter Asteroid as follows..A person may have grown up in a home in which nothing made sense. Reality was skewed to the point that the person may have shut down. Emotional or mental illness may have ensued. With this asteroid, I think persecution of the native ensued, as well. I think the person was framed and blamed for things he did not do. Asteroids are most important for a person when they touch a personal part of the chart and by a very close orb, not more than 2 or 3 in a conjunction imoPersonal parts of the chart are the ASC,DSC, IC or MC or planets, but not so much Uranus and Pluto ------------------

Honestly, I am not sure I understand his story I'd say me and my father, our relationship is so unique. He's VERY, and when I say very, I mean scarily grounded. Like he only focuses on practical things. My father has been always seen like a weird person and for alot of the time during my childhood, I felt like this. She's trying to say that it's where you're perceived as either insane or justly accused, given Carroll's depiction of the Hatter in 'Alice's Adventures in Wonderland'. Trouble is, I'm not sure how she's interpreting it that way. Why are you, Ami? In my personal experience, (MADHATTER conjunct ASC, with 12H VENUS 3° orb) I'd have to say it bestows a kind of eccentricity. Things get topsy turvy and don't go as planned. It's best if you roll with it rather than attempt to apply traditional logic. Rather, that'll just drive you crazy. 😉 IP: Logged |

Madhatter conjunct Neptune 2°, conjunct Desc less than 2°, sextile Mercury 1°, sextile Pluto exact.
(I'm leaving out wider orbs but I've got quite a few 3° aspects too).

Hmmm...interesting, I have this asteroid in my seventh, square Chiron in my fifth house, I grew up in a very chaotic environment as a child.Could this mean my childhood effects my romantic relationships? It is also worth noting, that it conjunct said my boyfriends natal Neptune in Saggittarius, Neptune is also the ruler of my bf's Asc, any ideas on this? IP: Logged |
