Watched last night (previously was keeping up using social media/magazine articles/commentary)I couldn't watch it past 15 minutes. Too sad, too heartbreaking. I've said it before, but this is definately karmic, you reap what you sow! Dean had a family and wife--so did Tori (she had a husband) They slept together immediately (which Tori thought was love). Dean also equates sex with love (and affection) So this is where they really had a problem. it's all of that scorpio energy....plus. her Taurus sun/ mercury will stay in a situation a bit longer out of habit sometimes as well, because they want the security. Also, slow to accept change. Also, venus sq. neptune which is good for art, but leads to idealization of others in love. Add this to her scorpio moon sq jupiter and that is a bit of emotional excess as well. Over doing it the max! She brought Dean to her father Aaron Spelling's furneral before anyone in the family met him.....she was already estranged from her mother, and no one in her whole family even liked Dean from the beginning. She told her 1st husband one day after sleeping with Dean the 1st day she met him, that she no longer loved him. She wrote in her book that he was heartbroken and that she felt it was OK, because she met the person she was meant to be with. To me, you could see this coming a mile ahead......she has no real support system and probably low self-esteem. Everyone of the producers she has worked with said she was absolutely lovely to work with (sun conjunct venus) so surely she is a personality, but there is something within her that also wants chaos and lacks stability. She has mercury sq. mars and it is not other wise aspected....she probably has a hard time deciding when to make moves, and when she does, it is rash, but because her moon is in scorpio, she may think she is being instinctual or "purging" what is necessary. Dean (probably lured by Tori's fame in Hollywood and her father's legacy" probably thought this would be easy. But he left his children for Tori--he was on the way to adopt a daughter with his ex-wife and she eventually now is raising the kids alone. This is a classic, "reap what you sow" moment. Also, Tori was known to cavort through her cast mates in relationships on set as well (which is in her book), which is why she hooked up Dean so easily....she lives through her senses IP: Logged |

Wonderful analysis, Lotus. Thank you. I am planning on watching this episode, today. Just on a personal note, once I was going to make the biggest mistake of my life, akin to her marrying Dean. I prayed about it and all these stumbling blocks came in my way, such as Randall was talking about signs on his thread in LL 2. At the time, i was as sure as Tori was but I was very fogged and acting on deep pain and deep issues and not sanity. Well, roadblocks blocked it and now I can see what would have happened to me if I had followed my "heart" ------------------

It sounds like a Fixed star. I am not sure if she has Aldebaran conj something major but the Fixed Stars give you lots of blessings but DEMAND you have integrity or you will have a bad, disgraceful and humiliating fall. I have this conjunct Venus, exact, and I would have fallen in the manner of Tori-losing everything. She had it all, imo. Now, she is a wreck  ------------------

I watched episode 5 last night. Next week is the season finale. Tori was very emotional which is a good thing because she got to let out all of her bottled up feelings. Dean was also emotional.  It was something when Tori said that she knew she would marry Dean as soon as she laid eyes on him. I wonder if there is a love at first sight or other aspect between the two showing this? Towards the end Tori kept inquiring about what led up to the cheating incident. I think she wonders if it was because of something she did or didn't do. Dean is into sex and has been like this from day one. Either he confuses sex for love or is a sex fiend or both. Tori needs to realize that try as she may, she will not be able to be all things for Dean all the time (perfect wife, perfect lover, perfect mother etc). It is just not possible. IP: Logged |

Hmm when he said that he contemplated suicide his emotional state at the time didn't seem to suit the situation. When Tori was crying Dean immediately started sobbing as if he was on cue. I'm not saying that he wasn't upset or sad but his reaction was over the top. Some folks have a hard time showing emotion if anger isn't involved.*shrugs* IP: Logged |

He is a scorpio and has strong scorpio placements right? Scorpios tend to not show emotion easily except in private.It could be that Dean is not used to showing these type of emotions which is why he looks unnatural doing it. I'm still trying to figure him out. IP: Logged |

Good post. I did read 1 or 2 of her books but she has several.Which one did she talk about her marriage and what her husband felt when she told him about Dean? I don't know anything about her first marriage.IP: Logged |

I love Tori. I can relate to her cuz she had a mother like mine but she carries herself with a great deal of dignity. I have been a Tori Spelling fan since Bev Hills 90210. I think she made a mistake in her marriage, as most of us make mistakes.
Yet, she tries to deal with her life with dignity and refinement and a sense of self.

I watched the last episode. Although I know Dean already filmed season 2 of Chopped Canada, I'm not surprised that he came to this decision. If I were Tori, I too would have never wanted him to go back to filming the show. I do see why she relented and let Dean go.
He would've become resentful and said that he has no career because of his marriage. I wouldn't care because this would be a consequence of his cheating. For all he knows Chopped Canada may still not ask him back for season 3 esp after watching this show. I didn't know Dean had so many issues until I watched True Tori. Now Tori is stuck with him esp because of the kids. I want to find out more about her first marriage and how it was before she met Dean. IP: Logged |
