Let me try my hand... Cappy sun in the 9th... I think Capricorn here would place an emphasis on education, philosophy, travel, possibly formal education in the spiritual/metaphysical arts. I think Capricorn sun here would denote someone highly educated, as this house rules education, no? I would think this placement would really make someone seek and question the meaning of life, why are we here, etc. I think Capricorn in the 9th would make one very dedicated to unlocking spiritual truths, whether or not this is obvious through their line of work/chosen field of study. I have never tried that before and I'm new to learning about the houses, so I hope I wasn't too off!!! My Sun in Aquarius is in the 5th house. IP: Logged |

I hate to feel like i am hogging all the interpretations but since not many seem to be playing along...(and i am really enjoying this)Well about my cappy in the 9th- normally you would be entirely correct in your interpretation in that generally it does stress education. philosophy, etc. and an outward expression of such. I should have mentioned that his sun in unaspected as is his mars leaving him a little less driven than the normal cappy. Aquarius in the 5th... let's see, i think you like freedom in your relationships and desire a great deal of independence as well. You like men that are slightly left of center- uniqueness scores well with your sensibilites. If you have children you would encourage them to express themselves openly( always a great trait!). However if any of your relationships are mistrustful, you may like your freedom but would not encourage or allow the same for your partner. Could be totally off here.. just as a final note there may something quirky about you, maybe you like to throw in quirky touches to what you are wearing or you like to collect quirky, kitschy things but would have to see what you have in your second house or asc. to say for sure. Also i believe women are more their moon sign anyway. My Mom: Sun Pisces in the 8th house

Well, I am definitely freedom loving and kiddies always love me, I'm always the adult at the dinner parties flanked by kids who want to talk to me and tell me secrets, whisper in my ear and be my friend, lol. I definitely want to have my own I think you are right with the mistrustful bit... Although I am very trusting until you give me a reason to question you. trusting to a fault. And if I have reason not to trust you anymore, the pendulum swings all the way back... and I get mean and controlling. I despise being lied to! I do like unique things more than kitchy or quirky, but yes, sometimes kitchy and quirky I think my Libra rising urges me towards tasteful rather than kitch, heheh. I like being the only person to have something, or to have a dress or a bag that is uniquely mine. Other people don't have to covet my things, I prefer they don't so they aren't compelled to copy them! I often wear things that will make my friends giggle and say "that is such an Aquarian Girl bag/shoes/dress!!!"... So yeah, I have my own style Let's see... Sun in Pisces, 8th house. I think this position would make you very intuitive and I think depending on other planets/aspects and the ruling sign, you could recieve an inheritance or money through a marriage. Or possibly lose money through marriage or have trouble with inheritance, again depending on all those factors. Since this is the house of sex, I think your sexuality is very spiritual and ethereal, and probably at the forefront of your identity, very important to you. OK... lets keep it going! My boyfriend has Pisces sun in the 4th house. IP: Logged |

Pisces in the 4th...From what I've read, the Fourth House represents the father, the home, early childhood, and later down the road in life. Pisces here would mean a mystical or intuitive relationship with the father in early childhood (possibly longer). A Pisces child has a million and one questions about things they can't see. Dad probably had a lot to do with answering these questions to the best of his ability. In my experience, Pisces children tend to be whiny children. This placement would probably have made a very whiny child. Your home is your sanctuary. Your sanctuary is very important to you. In your home I would expect to see plenty of metaphysical books to satisfy your cryptic Pisces mind. I think the saying that goes, "A candle always burns it's brightest right before it goes out.", would apply here. You will probably answer those long burning questions toward the end of your life. My daughter: Pisces 2nd house **raises hand** Teacher, teacher, will you be grading these for us? I'd like to know what you think. IP: Logged |

Pisces in the 2nd house...The Sun position shows what she is here to do in life. I bet she doesn´t have any problems to make money... I also heard that the house where Pisces is in shows the areas where she gets by, often without mean of support...She is kind here so it comes back to her... Maybe she will set up a charity (very piscean) or an organisation to help others... and money will flow in... as Linda said, the only way to make money is to move it around... what a better way to move it than giving it to the ones that most need it? Another thing that the 2nd house is about is values. Those will be of kindness and gentleness, faith and inner peace. She will defend them with conviction and people will remember her for them. I hope that was accurate enough... I´m only a beginner... There you have mine: Virgo Sun in the 10th house IP: Logged |

Sun in Sag, Sun on the cusp of 9/10 house. Astro.com interprets it as a Sun in the 10th. Career is very important to me. I need to have something that will keep me independent and give me space to develop my abilities. I enjoy a job where I can constantly learn and help others learn without enforcing my beliefs down their throats. That's why a teachnig job would be very limiting here. Maybe the Sun in 10th makes one very nervous about their job choices. I always feel like I'm still on the road for finding the perfect job that will be a true Labor of Love. And I have this new thing with my work where I feel the need to boss around people Kinda new experience. IP: Logged |

Sounds good to me, steelrose She's only 6, so she's doesn't have a lot of money... although, she does quite well with her allowance. She is very kind and gentle by nature though. People are always telling me what a little sweetie she is... and she really is. So... you've got 10th House Virgo. Well... the 10th house represents ambition, organization, and public image. Virgo here suggests you are very hard on yourself. You push yourself to the fullest, especially where your career is concerned. You are very goal minded, and probably push yourself very hard to see to it that your goals met. You expect perfection from yourself, and probably those around you. You probably keep up a very neat appearance. Your house is probably museum clean. I'm really enjoying this string. I wish more people would take part.

I'm completely new at this, so I'll take a stab:LibraSparkle's mum - The 11th house has everything to do with social contacts in a broader context. Here we're talking about clubs, associations, charities ... any type of group with which she'll feel a special bond. With her Scorpio influence, she will feel especially compelled to take part in these group endeavors and be very passionate about promoting its causes. This could be anything from a church organization, political party, humanitarian cause, you name it. The emphasis is on shared goals and a friendship bond with these people. They can count on her as a great resource and to be out there in full-force. On a cautionary note, there may be a tendency to hold strict views in favor of one's group and some slight cruelty with regards to opposing viewpoints. Did I come close, or miss the mark completely? Wow, was I supposed to write about someone else's Sun placement? God help me, I can't even comprehend my own! But I can dig up info like so: quote: Gemini The influence of Gemini in the seventh house creates a need for versatility and diversity in relationships. You must have a partner who is intelligent and shares your wide assortment of interests. Good mental rapport is essential. You are casual in relationships, and partnerships are better when the mate is not so demonstrative and demanding. The ideal partner exhibits the qualities of Gemini; bright, quick-witted, diverse, and always fun. The possibility of nervous tension causes periods of irritability in this relationship, but these periods usually pass quickly. The partner should be active and full of ideas, busy enough in his/her life to allow you the space you need.Sun in House 7 The Sun in the 7th House indicates that consciousness is being balanced and expanded by interpersonal relating. The sign and position of the Moon will indicate whether the area of Relative consciousness is a new field of experience or whether there has been previous experience of relating but from a position of dominance or subservience. The 7th House experience leads a person eventually to accept nothing less than equality. As the relationships he forms during his lifetime are the very means of his self-discovery it is common for a person with the Sun in H7 to start out with a very weak sense of identity. In his early years he commonly experiences difficulty in giving one lifestyle preference over another: intellectually he understands that, unless they involve the exploitation of others, they are equally valid. Often the way out of the impasse is to bring a sense of direction into his life by means of an ambitious partner whom he supports and, to an extent, gets an identity from. It will not be long however, before the influence of this area of the horoscope causes him to react against the inequality of the relationship and the expectations his partner has of him. Then he will strike out with a clearer sense of direction and purpose. This process may have to happen a number of times before a 7th House person is able to define what he perceives himself to be. What he learns of himself through his experiences adds to his understanding of others: if he becomes aware of his own distinctiveness he has to acknowledge that of others; and if he acknowledges how different is the reality of each person then this calls into question the desirability of trying to fit with another in a binding, long-term commitment. Surprisingly, perhaps, the Sun in the House of Venus may produce tolerant and reasonable people but it does not produce willing candidates for marriage. It is notable that 7th House people of both sexes tend to marry late - if at all. Women with the Sun in the H7, in particular, possibly as a reaction to experiences with dominant partners early in their lives, tend to feel that they stand to lose too much of themselves in a conventional marriage and become very self-sufficient. People with the Sun in the 7th House tend to be happy in work in which there is plenty of scope for personal interaction, and in personnel, public relations and counseling work in particular. As teachers they tend to owe their effectiveness to their willingness to relate to their pupils as equals.

Yin, what is your sun/house combo? As mine's already been covered (Hi Sana!)--Gemini, 8th I'll take a shot at a made up one: leo, 9th Leo: outgoing, generous, LOUD in the house that supports foreign travel and studies. A leo sun here would would be very ambitious about learning, and would keep learning for all his life (loyalty). He would make a great teacher, because he can relate so well, but has a bit of the "I'm in charge here" touch, hence Teacher. Leo's love adventure and would like to do a lot of traveling, and will be able to teach about the places he has gone and seen. Also, maybe a bit of an educational snob? Would want to go to a great (reknown) university and have a great education, and would be very proud of his education, spurning him on to go higher. Placement of a Dr. or PhD or someother academic. How was that? This is a lot of fun, Linda! How about hubby, cappy in the 8th. Nackie IP: Logged |

Ichigo_fizz.Okay...let me take a stab at my fellow Aqua. Aquarius in the 12th house...your energy is toward innovation and this placement suggests you would like to cause change in societies "deeper issues." These include the subconscious, dreams, mysticism, meditation and all things behind the scenes. I could definately see you involved in the reform of social work, prisons, hospitals or something in psychology. You're interested in the subconscious and may analyze your own inner workings a lot. Okay, I'm Aqua in the 7th.... IP: Logged |

Nackie... Capricorn in the 8th... hmmm... I think the sun in here might indicate family money, probably with good aspects being blessed in that area, and with hard aspects... perhaps difficulties, disputes over inheritance. I think this would give your hubby a powerful sex drive, but with the Capricorn placement, as Cappy tends to project conservatism... I don't think this is an aspect of his persona immediately apparent... not "hidden" just not immediately projected I have no idea how right or wrong that may be, I tried not to look anything up and use my knowledge of Cappy, the 8th house and my intuition, so let me know how I went! Hi Aquarian Girl! You are dead on about the sex drive rotfl (the bone of contention in the marriage, despite my 8th house sun!). His sun only makes trines and sextiles (Moon, Mars, Jupiter, Neptune, Pluto) and he comes from a more-or-less priviliged background. His parents aren't rich, but they certainly aren't poor, I would say middle-middle class, if that makes sense lol. He's never had to do without anything, but since he's a cappy, he keeps his wishes pretty basic, anyways. That was a really good interpretation, one I wouldn't have thought of! Nackie P.S. How bout Sag in the 11th...to keep this thread going P.P.S. Sorry, Yin, didn'T realize you put your sun/house combo in earlier! IP: Logged |

cappyme: First House Cappy Sun... PLAN PLAN PLAN! You need a plan. Without a plan, you feel like you might lose it. You need organization like a Scorpio Sun in the 8th house needs SEX!ladycourt: 7th House Aqua. Your mate is your best friend. If you do not yet have a partner, you're looking for one that will be your best friend... or possibly, your best friend will become your partner. ok,i'll try too.. libra sparkle's lil sis : virgo, 12th houseThe 12th hse encompasses 'beyond the personal'...and virgos are such lovely people with clear eye for detail. This may represent someone who is very practical, who dreams of bringing about a perfect well-organized world, where there's proper law and order. All in harmony. They may also want to have ,in someway, been of great service/extremely instrumental in bringing about this wonderful change. They like to know that they helped make things much better than before. He he.. dunno. Hope that wasnt too far out. Still lots to learn. Me : Scorpio, in 7th house. IP: Logged |

You would be someone who's major focus in life would be the union, with your life partner you would be intensely interested in exploring just how close 2 people can be to one another, physically (healthy sex life would come naturally) and mentally, devoted to growth and the transforming the relationship to even deeper levels of understanding.(house 7) (house 6) You would often anticipate your partner's needs and suprise them with how attentive you can be to issues around unstated needs. In business or deep friendships you bring great understanding of the greater mystery of underlying problems, often offering solutions going to the heart of changes needed.(house 7) You often work extra time because noone has the problem-solving skills or uncanny knack of getting "to the bottom of things" practicality.(house 6)Phew!!! Eeek Im going to give this a try!! Ive never done an interpretation before so *deep breath...*Aries sun in 10th house: Aries are ambitious and competitive, and 10th house is ruled by Capricorn so this would intensify these qualities in terms of your career. The 10th house would lend the Aries even more drive, and possibly workaholic tendencies, and they would excel at whatever they do, probably reaching the top of their profession very quickly. Is this OK?
