Venus in the Houses
Homework
by Aphrodite Sky

1st House

Venus in the first house denotes an outlook in the world perceived through eros and pleasures of the self. The body is most likely to be softly edged, even when very thin, there will be soft curves. Smiles are windowed curtained with full lips, and eyes are typically wide-set.

In general, this placement will choose harmony over strife. They prefer compromises, going with the flow, and are not widely known to be the cause of wide rifts of disparity. In outward appearances, many choose to fashionably blend in with whatever social gathering they are at. They feel uncomfortable standing out as the odd one. Socially, they are naturally charming and polite.

Hard Aspects to Venus will make it challenging for a native to express the above qualities. Affections can be expressed at inappropriate situations. Highly emotional scenes with others will be prevalent. Promiscuity, lying, or using natural beauty of charm to take advantage of others are tempting. Laziness and manipulating others into doing their work is a common place with a difficultly aspected Venus in the first house.

2nd House

Venus in the second house bestows the native to desire value and comfort. The means of earning or gaining material things could well possibly be a labor of love. This placement more than any other will endow the native to place on their list of personal values---that liking their occupation is a must. These natives will be the least likely found in jobs they do not enjoy doing, at least not for long. They like having and producing things that are beautiful. A poem written in harmony given to a loved one, and/or paintings done with colors that go together. Hard, edgy arts do not appeal to these natives very much. The things they have usually fall along softly edged lines.

Hi lalalinda!

My Venus is in Libra. It's "home" by house and sign No wonder I'm such a sucker for romance

Aspects she makes:
- opposition Moon
- sextile Mercury
- conjunct Mars
- sextile Uranus
- square Neptune
- trine Chiron

I'll post the rest of the chart later.

My venus is in the 11th... along with my moon. I've always gotten along extremely well with Aquarians. And yes, I'm very dependent on friends. Friends are VERY important to me... I consider them my family. Losing a friend, to me, is as bad as losing a lover.

Hello Wednesday
For as good as your Venus/Libra/7th is, a double dignity
there is Mars/Libra/7th house, a double dibility
Good news is Mars conjunct Venus is a very attractive aspect.

BlueEyes
This position of the Moon/Venus gives many friends (benefics in the 11th)
Moon conjunct Venus (what sign? each sign has its own type of beauty)
is an aspect of charm, grace, and beauty.
look for partners/friends with one or both of those planets in their 5th house.

lalalinda...

so does that mean my 7th House is, um, afflicted? My Mars in in Virgo, but since I've got doubles on both, does that mean they are cancelling each other out?
