Hi Sue,

I think my Virgo roommate has her Venus in Virgo b/c she's the only person who has ever appreciated the little house cleanser goodies I put under the sink

She purchases liquid floor cleanser by the gallon

And dishwashing sponges by the dozens.

It took us 3 months to finish up a 3 pound bottle of dish soap. Really finish, like adding water to the bottle to get every last drop.

She makes very cool homemade presents. Electic, but cool She has painted a set of denture molds, glued her picture on the palate, wrote a poem across the top gums, and mailed them off to England to her beaux as a gift. Thank God he's an Aquarius who will no doubt enjoy them. Hehe.

Hmm, that's a good question. I haven't asked for her birth data. I should do that.

I'll check back with you on that Teacher

I love Venus in Virgo. Especially when it's paired with Mars in Cancer and Leo sun (I know a few of these). Venus in Virgo is very attentive, thoughtful, they pay attention to the little details of things. I find I get along especially well with the above combination because I have a Cancer moon, Mars in Virgo and a Sag sun.

Like I said once before, I think Virgo is the most attentive sign of all so Venus in Virgo would be an attentive best friend for sure!
Funny thing is that one of my teacher colleagues (I work in a vocational school) always thinks about my birthday, brings bonbons or something other very attentive. Today he brought chocolate for us and cookies. It was his 25th year inside this school today! He is the most attentive precise, punctual person in this school! And....whadayouknow??? He has Venus in Virgo 4 degrees. Hey...on top of my South Node! Oops...

My current love has his Venus in Virgo as well! It's a new placement for me, and I don't know what to make of it yet. He is very subtle, which seems very virgoan, and also attentive, and is able to notice the very slightest and often near invisible changes in moods and feelings. He makes people feel very comfortable around him.
Virgo seems to give Venus a mild restriction, in my opinion, but its a very gentle and nurturing restriction. Almost like a toning down of her more tempestuous or strongly arduous nature. Love is not very petulant or clingly with Venus is Virgo, is it?

What do people with Venus in Virgo need the most I wonder? Stability? Mental freedom? A clean bedroom? Room to build and plan the foundation and complex structure of love?

This is the best question I have seen posted ever. What does someone need? What does someone want?

I wish more people asked these sorts of questions.

Mostly I think we just need to know that we are loved, appreciated, needed, wanted. It's not a Venus placement that gives a lot of self confidence. Virgo in general always feels they can do better, are not good enough, must try harder etc

at "a clean bedroom" but yes I do like clean sheets

Aphrodite, thank you for your kind words, that was such a nice thing to say!
And also, I would also like to know how to demonstrate to someone that they are needed, loved etc. I can see how having one's Venus in Virgo might make one susceptible to self-doubt and insecurity. What are some effective and long lasting ways to quell these anxieties?
I can see, with my Venus in Virgo lover, that the more constant and reassuring with my presence I am, the stronger he feels. Virgo doesn't seem to be the strongest at expressing or exchanging emotions. The critical faculties seem to always take top billing with Virgo. . . Does anyone know whether feeling emotional and discussing it makes a Virgoan mind feel weak? Is this the case? Discussing emotions, if you have a strong Cancer influence, can make you feel stronger and more secure. I am sensing this might not be the case for the mercury influenced....Any thoughts?

Venus in Virgo needs to be needed.
Plus they are very clean, they will clean your kitchen floor, and make sure your fridge is clean, then follow you to work to make sure you got there okay and rotate your tires and pick you up and watch you fix dinner, criticize it and then clean up. The fun part is romance, Venus in Virgo will remember every holiday with a gift, and never forget the grind the coffee beans for your morning breakfast in bed.

Venus in Virgo is by far, the BEST LOVER in the zodiac, by far and care more about their partner than themselves.

BY FAR THE BEST LOVER!!!!!!!!
I'd bet my life on it,

Natasha

venus in virgo is proper...the lady of decorum. she will insinuate her way into love (not the other way around, mind ) by helping and perfecting until finally love has no recourse but to meld with her, finding her to be ndispensable.

..............................

i've mentioned here and there that my closest friend is a virgo...from when we were 17 at university to this very day with her evolution into wife and mother... and to all coming days beginning from now.

one observation: virgos don't get bouncy- excited like sags do. . i'm rushing and running and jumping up and down while my virgo friend, unless hurried and harried, which is indeed a luxury to watch, walks at an ever consistent pace.

she's always a phone call away. i usually call her anytime for just about anything that needs her no-nonsense, sensible, reliable logic. in return, i can afford to be charitable during her grumpy days.

though her whimsies are practical and her humor is prim, she's such a wonderful person to have in my life.

If you have a date with someone with Venus in Virgo, please see that all your planning is done well in advance. That includes calculating how much time it takes to pick up your outfit from the dry-cleaner’s, take a shower, shampoo your hair, powder your nose and locate the shoe your kitty dragged on to the front lawn (and don’t forget to take into account the traffic between the dry cleaner’s and home if it’s peak hour!). If you are over three and a half minutes late, you will find yourself dateless. If you’re not responsible enough to show up on time, how responsible can you be about the bigger things in life? V in V is sizing you up, you see? What are their prospects with you with respect to a stable, disciplined life?
Okayyy, now lets say you followed that advice and showed up on time. Wow! V in V is suitably impressed. They can trust you to get the kids to school on time! You can look forward to a well deserved meal of soup and as much salad as you can eat!

People with this placement are very fussy about potential mates. You must offer stability above all else. Not for them the changeability and excitement that some of the other placements crave. Venuses in Gemini and Sag are their two worst nightmares!
Stability and a steady (but of course! ) dose of affection….

They don’t find it easy to dive straight into love, they are rather shy and cautious about entering into something at first, but once they do, they will stay put. They are so cozy and comfortable to be around, you will feel like you and your Venus in Virgo have been together forever. They won’t shower you with roses and poetry like Venus in Taurus, or surprise you with tickets to Brazil for the weekend like Venus in Gemini, or make long, eloquent speeches about how much they adore you like Venus in Leo, so you may have to get used to understanding that you are loved. You may be confused when they insist that you spend quality time with them and then when you snuggle up for a cuddle and a chat, they promptly pick up a book and leave you to watch tele. They’re not being perverse, they just want you around…that’s how they show you they cherish you. They NEED you around. Don’t believe me? Try leaving that room. Tell them you’re watching tele in the living room. Or going for a walk, or grocery shopping. They’ll follow you to the supermarket and read there.

Because they so rarely ask for affection, you may think they don’t really need you to show it. Wrong!! You should know by now they’re not good with overt expressions of emotion. But they’re all soft and mushy inside and they appreciate all the TLC you shower on them whether or not they act like you could jump off a cliff. Next time they’re busy cleaning up the mess you made, go up behind them and give them a great, big bearhug. Never mind the protests and the explanations of ‘this-is-not-the-time-to-be-silly-there’s-work-to-be-done-blah-blah-blah'. Watch their faces closely. Do you see the flush in their cheeks and the warm glow in their eyes? That’s the unmistakeable glow of someone who wants so much to be loved

Mmmm..Roger Moore as James Bond (this Venus in Cappy's personal favorite James Bond )

I have a Libra buddy who has Venus in Virgo and I dated a Scorp with Venus in Virgo (so I agree-yay for Venus in Virgo ont hat one ). One of my new buddies, a Leo, also has Venus in Virgo. Just from what I noticed, they seem to express their emotions sort of..timidly. They do nitpick and harbor bad feelings about the little things too.

thanks, sunshyne.

You must offer stability above all else. Not for them the changeability and excitement that some of the other placements crave. Venuses in Gemini and Sag are their two worst nightmares!

i got venus in sag. she offers me stability. i offer excitement: "hey, i've just met this folksinger and i'd like you to see him. let's hang out at the place where he sings tonight." and there she goes, traipsing across town past her bedtime.

so we do complement each other. i've got 3 planets in virgo myself, all in conjunction to each other.

you're so right about them not being gushy and mushy. and yes, their faces do take on a soft flush that sparkles when they're shown affection.

They NEED you around. Don’t believe me? Try leaving that room. Tell them you’re watching tele in the living room. Or going for a walk, or grocery shopping. They’ll follow you to the supermarket and read there

yep. and the way they do it is so unobtrusive!

hi, oxy !

um, what about this image?

venus in virgo is perfection- conscious. she looks at love with a critical eye and then proceeds to iron out its creases, dust off its nooks and crannies, snip its hanging threads, and grudgingly offer to make its bed; and she does all of this matter-of-factly!

Venus in Virgo here I feel totally "busted"

Boy you guys have really got Virgo Venus down to a tee

Just one thing...
Hi Sunshyne.... I would wait more than 3 and a half minutes but only because it would be rude not to (Virgo ) but yes you're absolutely correct, I do not like lateness it does irritate me cos Virgo's are very rarely late

this is not negative, but I feel that Venus in Virgo has a very severe self critical image of herself/or himself.

Hi Natasha
Yes you're absolutely right. We are very hard on ourselves. It's the Virgo "perfect thing" although we know intellectually that no-one is perfect and actually we do accept other people's flaws (even though we may try to help them improve ) we still feel that we ourselves are never good enough. I guess that's the side of Virgo
