1scorp,
everything you said is correct, at least it's true for me.

As for the 2 tickets and 2 books and stuff, I think maybe not, I have to think about that some more.

thanks Cat and Sunshyne

it did become clearer aftr ur explanations...
n now , come to think of it...i do hv some gemini traits...

like,

1. i like intelligent men and one of the traits i find attractive in a guy is intelligence n wits...

2. i think tht love does hv alot to do with ur mind...if someone is stimulationg ur mind,, he is attractive for u.... if u hv a bond at a mental level, then u will b physically attracted to each other as well...and if there is no mental connection, there is hardly any thing in a relationship

3. i like to hv a battle of wits with my love !

4. i like to buy books for myself...
5. i do 2 things at a time as well!..infact many a times i m in a middle of somthing n i start another thing (may b its the aries sun! leaving things incomplete!)

anyways, so ...yes i do identify with my gemini venus now! hehehe!

thanks !!

Ujala

only trying tht www.mysmilies.com..i hope it works correctly!

Venus in Gemini

You are open(G) and friendly(G) and very much a flirt (V). You attract(V) people with your witt(G) and inventivness(G). You find you have a difficult time settling down in just one relationship(V) as you tend to be curious(G) about romance(V).
Change(G) is as important as excitment(G) for you. If your partner(V) doesnt understand this excitabel(G) you, chances are you will be searching(G) for another. If you make a life long commitment(V) you should maintain a variety(G) of friends.

IM CAUGHT UP YEPPIE

I had made a post... then bloop! Gone.

So, I'm going to attempt this again... if it does pop up than pardon the similarities

Good job Melissa!

I'm glad you could identify Morgana... had me a bit worried.

The 2 things going on at once... now, after observing the geminis I can tell you this... it's true! Something you probably don't pay much attention to... just sat back and watch one day.

Example: My gem will rinse his mouth with mouthwash while combing his hair and already have the toothpaste on his brush!

Not me... I have to do one thing at a time.

He flips through channels on the t.v. Literally watching 2 programs at once!

Again, not me... I have to do one at a time.

Now, on to the cancer venus! That's what my Gem has !

Are you talking about a Gemini Sun or Gemini Venus?

Yes I sometimes watch two programs at once if they are both too slow for me, and I read or study while watching TV at the same time (to be sure not to miss anything, haha). And when I think about it, before I was in a relationship, I often had at least two romantic possibilities in store. But once I'm in love, my Venus in Gemini shuts down and I have eyes for only one man.
And I never cheated on anyone and I'm not very flirty either. I think

Hi Jennafer
Nice to see you here

I don't think your Venus Aries would necessarily be a cause of you being on your own for 5 years. I've not been in a relationship for almost 4 years (by choice) but my Virgo Venus most definately has something to do with that - way to choosey

It sounds as if there are other things going on in your chart. Sorry I don't have time to look at charts right now but I'm sure you'll learn a lot about your own chart as we go through this course.

Hi Everyone
I was thinking ...it's interesting how hard it seems to be to "pin down" a Gemini Venus. By that I mean in the interpretations......can you see how Mercury (Gemini's ruler) can be fast, changeable, the trickster - just when you think you have it....off it goes in another direction. Also bearing in mind that Gemini's are often like two people (there's that 2 again).

Morgana, you asked if we where talking about Gemini Sun or Venus. Well this string is about Venus but here's something to bear in mind........

In the various signs, the nature of how you deal with people is modified and clarified by Venus. Venus is often in the same sign as the Sun. When it's in the same sign, there is a consistence in behaviour that extends to dealing with people and in romantic situations. When Venus is in a different sign, the character of the Sun is often overcome by the romantic tug of Venus.

Here's some famous people who have both Sun & Venus in Gemini.......

Tony Curtis
Wallis Simpson
John F. Kennedy
Naomi Campbell
Mick Hucknall (Simply Red)
Liam Neeson
Ruth Westheimer (Dr Ruth)
Dean Martin.

And Venus in Gemini but with Sun in Cancer....
Mike Tyson
Gerald Ford

Sue

PS: I was when I saw that Dr Ruth had Venus in Gemini......she talks about sex for a living

Hmm, that's so true - it's so difficult to completely capture the essence of Venus in Gem.

Hi Jennafer
Do they record times of birth on birth certificates in Australia? As that would be the easiest way to find out your birth time. Other than that, you'd really need to get a chart rectification done. This involves you remembering dates of major events that have happened in your life. (It's a time consuming process).
For now you could use 12 noon as a default time but obviously we know that won't be accurate - as we need to know your correct ascendant to "set your chart" re house positions.
Sue

PS: If you use a 12 noon birth time it would give you a Taurus ascendant at 28 degree 36 minutes. Slightly after 12 noon would move your asc into Gemini. If your Mother said lunch time maybe you can work with that for now?
Did you read through the lessons re Ascendants that were covered at the beginning of this course?

Hi Sue,
Thanks heaps for your help!
Unfortuanatly in Oz they dont put yout time of birth on your birth Certificats. Though I have been playing with my chart, not that I am a expert on it! And I decided to ask those close to me their opinion on what they "See" about me, like the different "Hats" I wear. And I got one main theme. And that was me needing to have people in my life, needing to talk about things, actually anything.LOL
My sister said she was going to put a mobile phone in my coffin when I die, so I wouldnt be bored or lonley!

I decided to re read a chapter in Lindas last book Relationship signs, the one on acendants for men and women, and in the chapter on Gemini acendants ..I must say there are many parts I can relate too!

And I was thinking, from my understanding on astrology and people in general, the planet we have , can influence/decide on how we "CLICK" "CLANK" or "CLUNK" meaning get on with great, ok, or just plain old bad.

well I know I dont have any air in my chart,
but I have had alot of Air people. My ex husband was a double gemini named Rob, and my second major relationship was an Aquarian named Rob, Spooky hey! and alot of my close friends have gemini and aquaruis in there charts also!

God can you imagine that hahaah A gemini asc and a Pisces sun, I wouldnt know were I was! there would be 4 of me.........lolol actually it all sounds to true!

Thanks for your help, and once again I really appriecate your help. I wish I could just learn normally like everyone else, so please bear with me. I just need too see things clearly in my head, and it has too feel right for me to make sense of it! Weired I know.

Best Wishes Jen

Mike Tyson, huh?

1Scorp,
I don't know about that, I think my Scorp Moon is messing up all my plans for double pleasure, turning them into double misery My Venus does start things off lightheartedly , but then my Moon steps in and ruins everything

Jennafer,
I also learned that I can most easily make verbal contact with the Air people. It seems that our conversations just get flowing right from the start and I can actually chat a lot with Geminis and Aquas and somewhat less with Libras, or with people with more Air in their charts. This is as far as conversations go, other kinds of contact that are based on feeling etc., are established with the Water people. I feel them very easily, I empathize with them, but we can't chat as easily as I do with the Air people. This is a generalization, but you get the point

Morgana

I know what you mean, I thought maybe I was attracted to air sign people because they had what I lacked in my chart, but for some reason I get along with them, though I cant say I have ever really gotton to know a libran. Having a scorp moon myself, i know what your saying about double the misery!

Bt the way, I made a deal with myself, no more gemini's and no more Rob's have too break the cycle!...*S*

Haha jennafer,
I said that to myself as well: no more Geminis. I dated two (you see, there's that twin thing again), one directly after another, and realized this was not for me. But I'm predominantly water and air, so I think that's the reason I communicate well with the Air and Water people.

Glad to know another Moonmate (this is a term we Scorp Moons invented a while back in another string in the Astrology Forum, Calling All Lunar Scorpios, if you're interested )

I'm going on a holiday today so I won't be able to read the replies. I can hardly wait!!!

See you later

VENUS IN GEMINI
Affections are light, changeable, flirtatious, spontaneous.
Values intellectual pursuits, curiosity, linguistics, conversation.
They attract others with witty conversation and provocative questions, exchange of information and experience, telling jokes. Aesthetic ideals: light, airy, breezy, hands, books, dictionaries, pens/pencils/papers, love letters, sparkling conversation at dinner parties.

venus in gemini is evanescent. she'll flit and flutter and talk her way into love... and out of it. in the event that she talks love out, she must be careful not to talk it away.
