A 9th house Sun i know - conjunct Jupiter as well in Libra..is a lawyer, who studied a bit abroad..i thought it was so fitting to have chosen law as his profession, with Jupiter in the 9th- higher education and part of the studies done abroad.. ------------------ Your energy introduces you before you even speak IP: Logged |

One of my close friends has his Taurus Sun in the 9th house. He works as a lecturer overseas, but his Taurus self likes to make frequent trips home for his mama's cooking, lol! IP: Logged |

9th house Gemini Sun for me. I resonate with a lot of what's mentioned in the first post but there ar also a couple things that don't fit. I don't believe in a higher power or that there is some higher meaning to my life. I prefer actually living, and being intensely present in every moment, to looking in vain for some vague 'meaning of life'. But I am posessed of a mind more interested in synthesis and practice. I prefer looking at the big picture and am not suited to finicky analysis. I have seven years of university studies and a couple degrees behind me, and I did all of it overseas. Didn't particularily want to move to another country to study, I've never been physically restless, but my mental curiosity drove me to go and study the subjects that I wanted and couldn't study in my home country. Mentally I am plenty restless and always looking for new impressions and experiences. I am very thankful for the internet, which allows my mind to travel while my body stays put in my home soil. For the most part that is, I'm not averse to taking shorter trips abroad from time to time. When I studied abroad I certainly met, and adopted, practices and ideas that were very different from those in my home village... but they weren't really spiritual or even very philosophical in nature. It was different ideals, politics and lifestyles that I was introduced to and that changed me and how I view the world. IP: Logged |

Weak? It sounds like one of the most fun houses to have your sun in. I feel alive when I travel and interact with different cultures, can't imagine how magnified that'd be with a ninth house sun IP: Logged |

MC/9th house conjunct a 0 degree Sun with 8th house 29 degree Moon I’m fascinated by what the initial post said about the moon likely found in a particular house because of 9th House Sun.
