i just saw my chart and found i had 4 planets in libra namely mercury,jupiter,saturn & pluto & my ascendant is in Capricon
this means all these four are square ascendant.ie the way people see me or the way i appear to them.

does this give account for me having problems in making friends(i'm generally a amiable person),as so many times it happens that i give a lot in the deal & get nothing & yet i don't mind ,but what really hurts me is that so many times when what i ask is just company ,things just don't turn out favourably(here i'm not blaming the people for being bad but just the circumstances which make them behave so.)
but at the end of the day i'm the loser as every friend who grows away makes me realise this fact more & more .
i simply don't know what to do???

ANKS you gave yourself a challenging chart in this life cycle. There is little doubt that you will have difficulties in allowing others to see the real you and understand who you are. The only way to overcome these challenges is to totally consentrate on expressing your Sun sign's potential.

I believe that our Ascendant acts as a protective device for us when we are children and not strong eneough to display our true Sun nature.

You're a Scorpio Sun, and you should try to manifest the characteristics of Scorpio's Sun, and not fall back into the typical Capricorn defensive mechanisms; being cold, aloof, shutting yourself off from others.

i agree with u 'bout that,
what i'm told & also i have read that because of my 4 or 5 planets in 10th house i'll probably do well as far as my carrer is concerned,also around aug 2003 my life will take a big positive turn.
as i have gone thru a really bad phase of 3yrs or so & also generally i haven't had a great time growing up as my relations with father were bad to an extent he indirectly ruined my career in sports,but i just went on trying & trying as i can't give up

but just tell me one thing

there r points in one's life when he comes on a pivot where he has to choose between 2 things either just go after it & defeat it or do damage limitation exercise
once i was at such point & failed miserably by goin after it

but i didn't lose hope
after 3 yrs again i have gone for it again(as i can't help being positive)

just tell me, should i be ambitious 'bout my future or should i just settle for less,& consolidate whatever i have

(i live in india & planning to pursue my studies in the USA around aug 2004)

do i have any chance of fulfilling my dream or will it be another disappointment,please give me an idea i want know so i can prepare my self mentally.
