I posted this is Astrology Forum but got no response. Can some learned one please comment?-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Wondering if anyone around here besides me has this? -- Mine at Aries 29degrees26min --LOL -- was just thinking that Aries must be one of the worst signs to have it in, as i just keep starting things that never come to fruition. Not much info around -- mostly just on transits and how peeps "work" around such an inconvenience. guess not -- just another way i am dissociated from this world.

Hi Niki At 29 degrees your natal Moon is at what's known as the Critical, Karmic or Anaretic degree. Here's some info for you re that......The Anaretic Degree, sometimes also called the Karmic Degree, is most often referred to as the 29th degree. To better understand its significance, let's break it down mathematically: The full wheel of the Zodiac contains 360 degrees and is composed of 12 houses (representing the 12 Signs). Thus, each house contains 30 degrees. Each degree within a house is labelled 0-29; therefore, the 29th degree is the last degree that a planet travels through in any house. If you have a planet positioned at the 29th degree in any of the houses of the Zodiac in your chart, you could say that planet is stationed at the Anaretic Degree. Your personal astrological chart is a snapshot of the planets in the heavens. It captures the location of the planets within the houses at the exact time of your birth. Astrologers look to the characteristics of the planet at a Karmic Degree and respect its teachings. In Astrology, it is very significant if you have a planet at the Anaretic Degree. If a planet is in this position at the time of your birth, it means that you are very close to mastering an important lesson of the universe, but you have not quite achieved success. It is only when the lesson of that planet is mastered that you may move on and progress spiritually and universally. People with an Anaretic Degree have a lesson to learn. Astrologers take the meaning of planets at an Anaretic Degree and encourage people to push themselves in the directions of the planet's characteristics. This planetary position signifies an urgent need to correctly utilise the energy of that planet. The lessons it indicates cannot be ignored if the individual wants to grow and transcend or achieve reincarnation and spiritual reinvention of the physical form. Below is a meaning of the Moon when it's positioned at the Anaretic Degree. For a more precise reading, the attributes of a planet at the Karmic Degree must be taken into consideration along with the Houses and the Signs that the planets occupy. Moon Spending some time unpacking your emotions is time well spent. The Moon encourages us to open ourselves up and to communicate our true feelings. There may be issues with your mother or women in your life that you need to resolve. Listen to your instincts and your feelings and make efforts to express them more honestly. Pay attention to your mood. Your first reaction may be the best; trust your instincts and reflexes. Seek out or offer your mothering and nurturing side. Pay close attention to the health of your stomach and breasts. Hope that helps you IP: Logged |

Yeah, which string? Of course i'm interested.Yeah, was aware of Anaretic - always enjoy reading more info on subject. Hmm -- one thing that DID work out well with Mom was that the 6 months prior to her death, we both had agreed to disagree and all was healed. It was true that much needed to be addressed and finally was. Strange that i have felt that if nothing ELSE in my life had been done "right" -- that that ONE issue had been come to a happy conclusion. Moon in 5th, just a degree and a half from 6th. Have had many lessons in listening to my first instinct. Maybe (?) i'm finally gonna listen better?? I have another Anaretic degree with Saturn in Virgo 29.47Rx.(10th, pretty close to SN) Father issues hardly have a chance as he is also deceased. Guess i will have to do it without him -- this one is much more difficult. "Male" issues give me a headache. I have swore them off at this point. The Moon and Saturn make an inconjunct, but did not know if this would be counted when one is taking into account the "Void of Course" situation. IP: Logged |

Thanks so much Cat --But, as a Merc-Jup Conj person (lol) i want more more more information. I used to drive my Mother crazy asking so many questions. She said i started real young and never quit. Actually, had done a search or 2, but didn't come up with a couple u gave. Thanks, i'm not being ungrateful or anything. I do relate to not having made a lot of connex with other peeps, in that it has me somewhat "distant" in my life. Must admit that i LIKE not being encumbered most of the time. Additionally, there have been those that tell me that sometimes things just "drop out of the sky" in my favor. hmmmm. . IP: Logged |

I looked for it, but I couldn't find it. I think it was started by someone else, and then Donna ran with it, so it's hard to find without our search function. ------------------ "Never mentally imagine for another that which you would not want to experience for yourself, since the mental image you send out inevitably comes back to you." Thanks for looking Randall. How funny it seems that info on this subject just gets lost or is just unavailable. Does that go right along with the subject anyway? HA!!IP: Logged |

Hi Niki, with a moon that is void of course (making no other aspects before leaving the sign its in) Frequently these people feel that they just don't quite make that love connection (similar to retrograde venus)They never completely lose it with love. Always hold back something are afraid to leave themselves vulnerable. With a 29 degree moon this means that you have 29 degrees and x amount of minutes behind you in aries with only a few minutes left looking out and all that taures ahead. So you will also have some of the moon in taures traits (exaltation of the moon). Rod Stewart has a moon void of course also, you're in good companyIP: Logged |

Finally checking back in --I believe i am showing some Taurean traits. My ability for "attraction" seems to have kicked in on a few levels. Progressed Sun and Mars now conj in Taurus also -- One thing i found curious -- I also have Venus and Mars in Aries, 17:30 and 7:07 degrees. The Mars seems just "REAL" young and impulsive -- tho since i have lived just a few years, i have a better handle on it now. Just seems sorta odd that one would be at all phases of a sign. I thought that one couldn't be born during a void moon, and that if there is a void moon in your natal chart, the time might have been written wrong or you were adopted. I think I read that from one of Linda's books... IP: Logged |

I don't recall Linda saying that, but I could be wrong. I'm pretty sure babies are born then, but I could be wrong about that, too. ------------------ "Never mentally imagine for another that which you would not want to experience for yourself, since the mental image you send out inevitably comes back to you." "Frequently these people feel that they just don't quite make that love connection (similar to retrograde venus)They never completely lose it with love. Always hold back something are afraid to leave themselves vulnerable"i've got my moon and venus at 29 degrees. i have had connections, but do tend to hold back on some front. hard to explain. i'm very secretive. doesn't help that my moon is in my 8th house. i think it's interesting how it was explained that the sign at a later degree looks over the next sign and has some of those traits. so true. i've got venus in pisces and i'm always the one asking people out. i've got balls there, i tell you! after i do that i tend to pull way back though and use that pisces seduction to pull them to me instead of me running to them.
