There are 144 different Mars House and Sign combinations. If we take Mars in Cancer, and the 9th House, the discription below might we be the result. This of course dosn't take any aspects into consideration. In the 9th Mar’s energy is best expressed in an intense interest in religious, philosophical, and educational endeavors. Because of their Cancer location, their energy takes on an intensely emotional context. Mars in Cancer require a relief value of some kind that can be use safely to vent off their pent up emotions. They can be crusaders who aggressively promote their ideals or causes. If evolved enough, these individuals can lead social reform, and inspire others to behave more ethically. Because Mar’s energy is expressed in action, not just words, they are highly effective in their efforts. They often are in the military, and tend to actively support military organizations and associations, as well as other groups that support their own beliefs and goals. Using the same sign and House, what do you all think might be the result? Lanny IP: Logged |

I have no idea why you said military... pls explain that. 9=higher mind, cancer=sensitivity, devotion (or hypersensitivity, manipulative) it should make someone very determined about asserting his/her own ideas, which would be very subjective, very emotional, very narrowed in that respect, a bit of a gentle touch of an iron fist, someone who says in the sweetest voice possible: this is the way things are (because I LIKE them that way, I FEEL they are like that). I have nooo idea.... cristina IP: Logged |

Many people with their Mars in their 9th house tend to be very patriotic, and if males often play that out in military service. Lanny IP: Logged |

Teacher Virgo, I love homework! With Mars in the 9th in Cancer, there is probably an active interest in philosophies, traveling, and education. The person is most active while looking at the big picture. Probably not very good at catching details, unless there are other things in the chart that indicate otherwise. The Gaquelins (sp.?) research says that sports and military figures usually have this place. They also this is a good placement for surgeons. Don't know why

lol -- I have Pluto in 9th and can imagine that Mars there would be one who SURELY would stand up for principle!! As Mars is where u put so much of your energy to work, this certainly would have to be a seeker, also factoring in the spirituality of Cancer. Tho, this person may open up a restaurant in a foreign land -- hehe.IP: Logged |

yes, I can see this person being very patriotic. Loving their home(cancer) with great gusto(mars). Can speak fervently and with great conviction about ethical or philosophical matters. Enjoys games of course.I've looked through my book of charts and found that every single Mars in the 9th house that I have in that book (5) has been greatly attracted to me, I dated 3 of them! Weird. I may be missing the big picture but I see someone who is (probably) very funny. Still waters run deep and in cancer (who observes and mimics) gives his "insights" the truer, the funnier. Mars in the 9th (sag House )motivates to think and act (look at mercurys aspects)in a friendly open manner.IP: Logged |

Hi teacher, I'm very, very new to this so please bear with me. To me this person would be a humanitarian crusader.
