I recently read that if a planet in a horoscope is at the end of a house, it should be interpreted in the following house. For example; my Saturn is at the end of the 6th house so it would be read as a planet in the 7th house. That does not sound right to me and I was wondering if anyone here had any opinion about this? thanks! IP: Logged |

Garnet,Since there are many different systems of dividing house cusps, if a planet is near the cusp of any house I use BOTH houses as part of the interpretation. In your example I would interpret Saturn as being in both the 6th and 7th house. Taking both ways, Tim IP: Logged |

Most astrologers read it as in the next House. ------------------ "There is no use trying," said Alice; "one can't believe impossible things." "I dare say you haven't had much practice," said the Queen. "When I was your age, I always did it for half an hour a day. Why, sometimes I've believed as many as six impossible things before breakfast." Lewis Carroll IP: Logged |

Why do they put it into the next house? That irritates me beyond belief. I don't care if it's in the last degree of the house, you run it through six different house systems, and my sun is still in the 7th house, I want it read in the 7th house, not the 8th. Lol. My sun is very close to the 8th House cusp. Not even a full degree away from it. IP: Logged |

LOL NOVE! I agree. I have enough complication already without my saturn being pushed into the 7th or my 11th house venus to the 12th. Thanks everyone for your replies. I'll go back and read my chart again both ways and be honest with myself about which is more accurate. I'll also check a few different house systems. IP: Logged |
