You and I share a birthday, cool day to be born. Your Ascendant is 6 degrees Cancer, your chart is ruled by the Moon. Uranus conjunct the Moon widely (10 degrees) but is such a strong aspect that it still applies. I'll give you both definitions below

What will feel essential to satisfy your inner needs is material and financial security associated with a stable life-style. The foundation for this will be establishing a loving family home; and achieving this will be a preoccupation. You prefer a controlled life, minimizing the threat of unsettling changes; and you erect barriers to keep those changes at a distance. Money is important in this respect to protect against financial concerns, although this is unlikely to be absolutely secure, due to the lunar fluctuating nature. If the Moon is placed in a fixed sign, then your financial situation may be more stable than if it is in a mutable sign.

Home is seen as a castle protecting you from the storms of life. Sitting there, surrounded by family, material possessions, and comfort, you feel a sense of solidity, emotional security, and well-being. If anything threatens this, you feel extremely vulnerable, as your center of identity has been displaced into the external world. Your feelings have been projected onto family and possessions, and they become the center of your life, the heart on which everything depends. The Moon symbolizes our emotional responses to life, the responses we learned at an early age from our mother; and Uranus indicates a behavior pattern that is connected to the generation we were born into.

If the word 'erratic' can be associated with Uranus aspects, we may surmise that we have erratic emotional responses with this conjunction. The chances are that the mother of the person with this aspect responds to her life in some erratic or eccentric fashion during the individual's childhood. It may be that the mother doesn't respond emotionally unless it's in the form of an emotional outburst; the child may have difficulty determining whether Mom is happy, angry or upset; here the emotional tirades come out of nowhere.

The adult with this aspect tends to make sudden and abrupt emotional decisions that sometimes offend others, for decisions of an emotional nature are seldom discussed before they are made. The emotional responses or reactions may be unpredictable. This can be both good and bad. It gives the individual a close tie to his generation and creates an affinity with peer group goals; so, it often indicates a person involved in healing or social welfare. It indicates a person who responds so suddenly and so strangely to emotional relationships that he leaves a string of broken hearts behind him as he rejects one lover after another, rarely working through relationship problems.

If the rest of the chart warrants, it can indicate individuals who draw violent relationships. For example, a woman with this aspect can be involved in sudden break-ups; this may result in an angry lover trying to break down her door. If these women want to avoid violence, they must consciously learn to share their feelings and hurts before coming to a decision about a relationship. They need to learn to discuss their feelings, for this is the only way a man (or anyone) can understand how they feel. The constructive behavior pattern will have to be learned, for the child didn't see the mother making reasonable or considerate decisions.

Was wondering about my Aries/Cancer being influenced by Saturn's transit!? How long has this been happening? The last year esp. and more like 2 has seen some radical changes in my life, (mostly good but fairly traumatic :change . Feel pulled to isolation/introspection as a rebirth has taken place. Enjoying solitude as never before.... (well most of the time, anyways)

Wondering when the wheel will come around to a more comfortable place (cancer talking?) Transitions are never easy for me....

Also, did you mention on another string that you were trying to figure out how to post our chartwheels so we could look at each other's? Any success with that?

I have decided to go with equal houses, does change things around considerably in my case, but does seem to fit me better.

I'm so excited, its starting to come together now!! not sooo .... new every day!!!

Mercury's placement in the eleventh house can indicate the type of person who needs to exercise his intellect as part of the larger human family. This house is often where people look for intellectual friendship and companionship. It indicates the kinds of associations they join and where they find or reject group identity. People with this placement may develop an interest in gathering knowledge by promoting groups with a common purpose. They may or may not be vociferous in their interests, fepending on how they use the aspects made to natal Mercury. Often they can be intellectually engaged in formulating ideas of their ideal soceity, which may reflect both their hopes and their social objectives.

Mercury is anyway known for his friendliness, so he is likely to feel at home in the eleventh house. Aquarius has the ability to strengthen the bonds of humanity between people; and Mercury's connective principle helps that process. We see the more realistic extension of this principle in the myth of Prometheus. Prometheus, the light-bringer, was not to be entirely divorced from his shadow side; Hermes, the god of duality, sees to that.

Aspects made by Mercury in this house to other planets will indicate how socially skilful people with this placement are.

The sign on the house cusp will also influence the way in which the thinking qualities of this Mercury placement are expressed in group or friendly activities. Mercury with Scorpio on the cusp may have a tendency to keep its thoughts to itself unless it can be sure it will be really effective in any joint activities undertaken. Mercury with Aries on the cusp may produce many original ideas in groups, but dislike the slowness of the decision-making process.
