So I know the Composite chart is the chart of the relationship itself. This was mentioned in the Astrology forum of the site.If the chart ruler of the composite was, Venus for example, would that mean that the house position and sign venus is in will play a major role in this relationship as well as the aspects and transits that affect it? Does this also mean that the 7th house is important as well? How much influence does the Progressed Composite hold over the relationship than the regular composite??

alanabelle,Personally, I interpret all the different parts of the chart separately and then see which parts keep repeating themselves. The parts which repeat themselves form the real "chart ruler" of the chart's expression. In your example, the chart could either have Taurus (physical, also desire) or Libra (relationships) modifying the Ascendant (self). In the first case the relationship identifies itself with reality and (perhaps) physical desires. In the second case the relationship identifies itself with other relationships. How important either of these issues are in terms of the chart as a whole can only be found out by...looking at the chart as the whole. The composite chart is a chart of relationship...once it BECOMES a relationship. In cases where one person is meeting another and deciding on whether or not to form a relationship, a relationship chart (one person's chart around another person's chart) works best. I don't use progressed composites. The composite is QUITE complex enough for me by itself! Relating, Tim IP: Logged |

hi alanabelle, I'm not one for using composite charts either. I will do one to double check but the most accurate will be a comparison chart. This is where you put all of their planets in your chart and aspect them (and vice versa) The number one thing you look for (for starters) is if your Ascendants make an aspect to each other (minor or hard aspects are fine) you just need that connection. lets start there IP: Logged |
