An Aries ASC or an ASC with Aries influences seems to definitely increase the chances of blushing easily... I call it the Martian flush! ;)

I have a Sagittarius ASC, at 11 degrees. This means that I have Aries influences in my ASC, since the second decan (10-20 degrees of a sign) for Sagittarius is ruled by Aries.

Growing up my entire life - even a bit now - I have ALWAYS flushed very easily... especially when embarrassed or anxious. Now I have it more when I'm about to lose my temper. I've read astrologers say an Aries-influenced ASC makes you flush because a Mars influence makes you have the possibility of a bad temper. But in general I can just flush from any strong emotion. :p

Yes, definitely! But I have other aspects that support a quick temper, or really just having an emotional tantrum from time to time... like Mars square Mercury with Mars in Cancer. Yikes, all I can say is watch out for me when I'm p.o.'d if you know me well...! :'S

Strangely such aspects make me less inclined to have volatile outbursts with strangers or friends versus people I know intimately, especially family. I think with the Aries ASC you might get mad very quickly but it sizzles out just as fast... when you get that temperamental feeling you don't hold long grudges, do you? I'd see that as more Scorpio ASC.

Anyone with fire in their ASC or a lot of fire could have temper issues I'm sure. But as I said, I'm sure they'd have aspects to back it up!

Ah, really? So you know some of my pain then! LOL. Nah, not really... it's not so bad all the time. I'd much rather have Mars in Leo simply because that goes better with my personality though. Sheesh, if only Mars could have moved just ONE degree over when I was born... :P Oh well. There's no changing destiny I guess. I think in my case what raises tension is the square.

In my case, I actually hate confrontations as well but man, I am like a pit bull if you provoke me hard enough, I bite ferociously! :[ I honestly can't help myself. I can be extremely intimidating but like we've said, ironically enough only to people I know well... Mars in Cancer can be unsure about how to handle confrontation, but when the crab is poked and prodded enough it will come clacking its claws at you straight from its shell when you least expect it. I') That's how I like to think of it. I guess that means I'm passive-aggressive, huh.

Hmm, well no, actually I'm not extremely friendly despite having a Sagittarius ASC. I will explain. I have Saturn square the ASC, which gives some people the impression that I'm too austere or a snob on some day; I have Sun in the 10th sextile the ASC, which gives people the impression that I'm jovial but all-business and bossy on other days; aaaa-nd then we have the lovely Moon conjunct Chiron in Virgo square the ASC on those days when I have lost my fiery facade and have slipped into depressive and ultra-critical mode where I pick every little thing about EVERYthing apart. 8'D

So as you can see... aspects to the ASC really change it a lot! As aspects will naturally change everything. What aspects do you have to your ASC?

Some orbs r close, others r not. But I'm listing them anyways bc I learn so much from u I can take what u've shown me and then look at charts of other ppl and dissect them lol

I LOVE Virgo suns much of the time, I get along incredibly well with them. Sometimes weirdly well... I found out someone I was inexplicably attracted to had the sun in Virgo and it just clicked for me it had to be because I am a lunar Virgo. Haha I don't really have OCD tendencies but I can be weirdly orderly about certain things, like not touching my food if you're preparing it, or not picking up my things randomly without asking first.

Mm, I suppose so. I think you're right. Sometimes I really DO hide what's going on inside, and use my fiery ASC as a shield to my more sensitive inner world. It isn't always fair of me, I admit. But I'm an extremely sensitive person and sometimes cover it up in favor of seeming like a bossy, sunny Saggie X') It makes things easier on me sometimes. If I can at least fake an air of confidence when I really feel depressed and cold, it can help sometimes. Also, Chiron conjunct the Moon can also really restrict me feeling comfortable about sharing my feelings... and in general Moon square ASC makes you feel very weird about telling someone you don't like 90-100 percent or totally trust something that is hurting or bothering you inside. :S

i don't say much, deeply reclusive/introverted. reveal little, conceal much. i notice when walking into a pub (insert some places) people don't try hard to not let me see they're kind of staring at me. at my sporting place when people see me they move to let me have my space, alone.
