great website http://www.dkfoundation.co.uk/BookKarmaHouse5.htm Five The Fifth House House of Leo Element: Fire Ruling Planet: Sun Area of Consciousness Relating Awareness through the exercise of creative energy Sun in House 5 The Sun in the 5th House is an indication that consciousness is enhancing its appreciation of creative potency and individuality and its awareness of being. In this process the recognition of others is integral. The 5th House is one of the houses of Relative consciousness and in this area of the horoscope a person becomes aware of himself in relation to others. In its own house, the Sun focuses a person’s attention on himself and his own creative accomplishments, which he then displays in order to receive endorsement from others. The challenge for all people born with the Sun in H5 is to keep sight of the infinite number of ways in which creativity can express itself and avoid becoming identified prematurely with one particular form of creative expression, through a hunger for recognition. There is a correlation between the House of Leo and the sacral centre, which accounts for the sexual experiences that those with planets in H5 so often attract to themselves. The 5th House placement of the Sun confers an awareness of self as a creative being. It does not of itself give exceptional gifts but as a 5th House person is usually ambitious for recognition of his accomplishments he tends to put effort into developing the abilities he has. The sign on the cusp of H5 offers clues as to what form a person will seek to give his creativity. For example, a person with Capricorn on H5 is likely to choose business; with Libra music, the decorative arts or beauty therapy; with Virgo healing. People with the Sun in H5 are usually attracted to environments in which creativity is being expressed, albeit by others. They make enthusiastic supporters of the arts in all forms and are found throughout the entertainment industry. Their need to be acknowledged makes them seek out the company of others and they tend to enjoy the energy and spontaneity of young children. Bringing children into being is another way 5th House people; both men and women give expression to their creativity. Larger than average families are not uncommon with the Sun in the 5th House. This placement of the Sun is frequently found with the Moon in one the houses of Universal consciousness or the signs Aquarius or Pisces, indicating that the past life experience afforded little scope to develop an awareness of individuality. My sun is in Gemini and everything you mentioned fits the bill.As a 5th house Gemini sun with mercury in gemini conjunct my sun. I can say that I have always been drawn towards the field of Multimedia and Communication Arts. But I’d always be focused on the one aspect of multimedia that I found myself and others found myself working best at 3D Modeling and in a way I limited myself from developing other skills other then 3D. After high school, I was accepted into college and took TV-Production but I found myself not liking the program because I felt that maybe I wasn’t heading in the direction of media that I wanted to and later transferred into a business program. Well I never did like the business program and felt as if I made a big mistake by getting out of media, I then applied for the Game Development Program and got accepted into the program, I don’t start until this September, but I can tell all enjoy this program more because 3D modeling is part of the game design process. As for keeping my ideas fresh, I keep an idea book with me and write down ideas that float in my head when ever I see or experience real life events. I also enjoy reading and looking at art, today i just watched a biography about Henry Darger and was impressed with the fact that he lived a secret life as an artist. As for the future I’m thinking of maybe starting a game company if I can, just because I think its a bull market and all get noticed for it and maybe acknowledgement if things work out, but thats if things work out, one can only dream.

5th house Sun - Libra Curious though, it mentions sign on the cusp relating to choice of expression - the cusp of 5th lies in Virgo, but have 5 placements in 5th house (inc Sun). I have always veered toward theatre - started out singing, then acting, then production, now writing... Would'nt say there was any healing in there - unless you consider self-therapy Any thoughts? Most of the rest pretty much fits - although considering my age and what I've read about 5th house and relationships, I think I'm very inexperienced in this area - am 34 and really only had a handful of relationships - literally! Do you think there's something else in my chart which limits my tendency to be involved in lots of relationships? (Sorry if I'm reading it wrong; but that's what I've picked up over the years about 5th house meanings) Would appreciate being educated though ------------------ ...to have been loved so deeply, even though the person who loved us is gone, will give us some protection forever... hey cat71I could swear i posted this before - maybe i was a little bit embarassed about it but as to your admittance "although considering my age and what I've read about 5th house and relationships, I think I'm very inexperienced in this area - am 34 and really only had a handful of relationships - literally! Do you think there's something else in my chart which limits my tendency to be involved in lots of relationships" I am going to be 29 in 12/18 and I have to admit - i've never had a really real committed relationship with anyone. although i'd like to one day - it just doesn't seem like i get the opportunity (only the half-ass ones and i really mean that). i was going to ask in here if there were other 5th house suns who have been married, been in committed relationships, lived with someone who was of intimate importance to them, etc. if so - what was it like? did it feel like a part of you died or that a part of you was born? basically - HELP!

well take one of mine Randall Since I'm still figuring out your natal chart does this give you a Libra Ascendant? (or Virgo? I know you have some Virgo right?) and a lot of Aquarius correct? IP: Logged |
