Hi everyone,Hope I don't lose any of you trying to explain this but, as a beginner I wanted to pick some people's brains in how to 'read' my chart. At the moment I am looking at my 2nd (I have 3 natal planets) and 8th house (with a uranus transit), and can't read if I'm seeing health or employment problems or opportunities, or even both for that matter and find it very confusing: I have 3 planets in my 2nd house and a Uranus transit in my empty 8th which will activate those planets, yes? - So, do I look at the planets' rulers to read its meaning rather than the house the planets are in or both? i.e: * transit Uranus in 8th = Uranus ruler is in my 6th (health/employment). * Natal Mars in 2nd = Mars ruler/Aries cusp is in my 8th. Is that bad? Not sure how i interpret that? * Natal Pluto in 2nd = Pluto ruler/Scorpio cusp in 3rd (siblings/neighbours/communication). Don't see where this fits in with health other than Pluto is natural ruler of 8th where Uranus is going through? * Natal Mercury in 2nd = Mercury ruler/Gemini MC is in my 10th house (career). How is this related to health implications? I've been told of health problems coming up due to 2nd/8th houses activating, but are they serious? But, how can it's meaning show health AND employment when they are 2 totally different things? (the rulers and planets indicate 6th/8th/3rd/10th houses lighting up) Also 12th house if my Libran 2nd house ruler venus is in 12th. 2nd house is money/self esteem/ values and 8th house other people's money/weeding out subconscious problems. Am i over complicating my own reading here? Is this a serious health issue on the horizon or employment opportunities coming up? Health wise; I have noticed with the 8th house Uranus transit i've had more migraines and teeth problems. Also noticed with Aquarius/uranus ruler in my 6th, i've had ankle/foot problems for the last couple of years, so don't know if that's related. Career wise; i'm on the bones of my arse almost job wise and in a job i loathe and have seriously been looking at other somehow becoming self employed with my art and possibly writing and thought with the 6th/10th houses showing up as well as my 2nd money house activating it was green lighting possibilities here. I don't understand how houses can have different meanings to them, i.e; 10th and 4th = one of the parents but also home foundations and careers. For a novice it's terribly complicated. Think I've bitten off more than I can chew trying to study astrology :> ) Thanks so much to anyone in putting me right as it will also help me in interpreting family and friends charts, albeit at a very BASIC level, lol! p.s. will try and include chart: http://s1152.photobucket.com/albums/p493/romantiger74/?action=view¤t=ROMANTIGER.gif Warm regards, Romantiger IP: Logged |

Hi Ami Anne,Please. Thankyou. I think to summarize what I was trying to say which turned into an incoherent ramble was; with the 8th house uranus transit opposing my 2nd, is it activating health or employment issues, or both? I was hoping it to be employment opportunities but someone has said no, its health and I couldn't work out how she specifically saw that, and a bit worried if its serious health probs. Cheers IP: Logged |

When one meets you, you may step out and shake someone's hand with confidence. You may be picky about detail in your daily life but you have a natural self confidence with which you put forth yourself. You are assertive in your daily life, too.You will assert yourself, if you want something even though you may feel too picky about how you go after what you want. You may wish you were not this way, but you can't help it. ------------------ Passion, Lust, Desire. Check out my journal http://www.mychristianpsychic.com/

You have had a lot of shake-ups in finances and may still as you continue on with life. The hardest thing for you, by far, may lie in love. You may want love very badly, as we all do. However,it may seem to elude you as mercury slipping out of a thermometer which broke on the floor. ------------------ Passion, Lust, Desire. Check out my journal http://www.mychristianpsychic.com/

You are a deep sensitive person. You do not go for flings or fly by night relationships. You do value your reputation and place in society, though, so you guard this, as well. You may have had a mother who was cold. Is this true? Your life goals center on the home and nurturing. However, your life goal is also a spirit of adventure and positivity. ------------------ Passion, Lust, Desire. Check out my journal http://www.mychristianpsychic.com/

Copy and pasted seen as i stupidly posted in the First timers thread:Hi Ami Anne, Not sure if all your replies were towards my chart, but I'll answer anyway, lol (oh, by the way is this my revised chart?): 1) In regards to confidence and assertiveness - I have been told I certainly come across confident to people but underneath I am most definitely not like that. I'm quite honest to people about my lack of confidence which leaves them a bit shocked because appearing and feeling confident are 2 different things. I struggle with assertiveness but have got better about it in the past few years. 2) Yes, finances have been up and down over the years, but arn't most people's? 3) Love life has been pretty elusive, but ironically, it never used to bother me too much! It's starting to niggle me at present though. 4) Partners - yes, I prefer jovial, adventurous, confident types as it brings me out of my introvert shell. Couldn't bear the thought of meeting another who is exactly like me! 5) Yes, I am deep and sensitive and its taken some years to grow a thicker skin though not much of one next to the average person. 6)Very true regarding the mother. That Moon conjunct Saturn gave me a cold, calculating, rejecting mother but if anyone else showed me maternal instincts and compassion she'd hate me even more. I always found it odd if someone doesn't like you why would they be bothered if someone else did? 7) My life goals on home and nurturing? I'm not sure, maybe because I had such a cold, fractured childhood I've always been aware of maybe history repeating itself? So, i've focused on working out as many problems as i could on myself before I ever decide to settle down. I do adore my pets though and treat them as my pet children, lol. I've felt personally, that my life goal is to become a fully evolved spirit and to express myself creatively somehow and make a living from it. I do struggle with it though with negative experiences from the past haunting me but I'm a lot better these days than i was, say 10 yrs ago. Thanks so much for replying IP: Logged |

very interesting about Moon/Saturn. I find the moon to be deepest part of the chart. It's struggles seem to be the most painful. I have some articles about 12th House planets. Would you like me to put them up for you?------------------ Passion, Lust, Desire. Check out my journal http://www.mychristianpsychic.com/

She's controlling and jealous. You don't deserve your own emotional reality, or your needs to be respected, since you serve as her sustenance so she yanks you around at whim for amusement. In that sense you're not a real person and are not treated as such. It's actually a maddening experience. It's like they never cut the cord and never want to let go. Is she still alive? What's going on with her?IP: Logged |

Thanks Lonake Yes, I think that does really sound like her. I think she might be what is termed a narcissistic mother? She went through a grim childhood herself but although I accept that I don't excuse her behaviour. Unfortunately she is one of these women who thinks the sun shines out of a man's arse. She pandered after my both brothers needs (though in context to the next family, i think even they missed out a great deal). And she reveres partner who are racist, sexist, drinkers, and perverts, so obviously a very low view of herself. When I was growing up and up till recently I always thought i was not a good enough person because family and friends were telling me i was selfish, stupid, mean, a ***** . No matter how hard i tried to change for her it was never good enough. I only cottoned on in the past few years it was actually my own mother telling these people i was like that! Obviously they were so stupid themselves they believed it, but then water finds it own level, right, as they say. Fortunately a couple befriended me and have been shocked that a) i was actually a nice, thoughtful person and b) a mother could actually do that to her own kid (even though i'm not a kid anymore). Yes, she's still alive, i do 'get on with her' but she'll never be the mother i craved and i now accept that. If she starts manipulating the situation i'm now very likely to tell her where to stick it. I don't have a huge amount of time for her. She does cut quite a sorry figure really; no friends, no partner, no family, we 3 kids sort of deal with her, etc, but i believe you reap what you sow. I just want and hope I can get over the way she programmed me to think of myself in a negative light. Lack of confidence has held me back from doing so much in life, i've got better at it, but feel i'll be an old lady by the time i accept myself and do what i really want to. Thanks for your message anyway RT IP: Logged |

Well RT I ask because your Moon is really stressed at the moment. It's natally sq Pluto and it's in the realm of a grand cross with t.Uranus/Pluto. It indicates a change in your relationship with her. Could even in some cases indicate her death. That cross will be active for a bit, at least until early next yr.IP: Logged |
