I have Chiron in Gemini in the 4th house."Much of the emphasis of the Fourth House, however, is on the concept of home. By laying down roots, we make a home for ourselves, or more specifically, the self." "Therefore, the Fourth House can also be thought of as the House of the Mother, the Parent or the Nurturer." "The Fourth House is ruled by Cancer and the Moon." The Fourth House (From Astrology.com) Huh. For a long time, I have felt like I don't have a home, even though I lived in my parent's house, and now I have a house of my own. I haven't decorated my house; I haven't even finished furnishing it... mainly because it's temporary, and I'm going to get a nicer house eventually. It's not a cozy, comfortable happy place. It's just a box with a lid, a place to store the handful of junk that I own, a place to sleep. It's a lonely, empty cave. Home isn't a building. It's a feeling, and I feel lost. I don't get along with my mother. My Chiron and Moon are both in Gemini, but not conjunct; my Moon is in the 5th house.

have you ever read the story of The Little Match Girl. I thought of that when I read this. I have Chiron in the 4th, too, conjunct my name asteroid. I, always, cry when I tell this story. She sold matches on the cold streets. She was outside a house with warm family and a beautiful Christmas dinner. She was all alone and cold, so she sat down to light a match. When she lit it, she was inside the house with the warmth, family and good food. When, it was out, she was back on the street in the cold. She had 3 matches left. She lit each one and when she lit them, she was in the room, again. They found her dead on the cold street, in the morning. I am crying, again, as I tell it. It never fails to make me cry ------------------ Passion, Lust, Desire. Check out my journal http://www.mychristianpsychic.com/

Maybe your houses are wrong, as you should feel the Chiron wound as it is strong. Do you feel it in the adjoining houses? ------------------ Passion, Lust, Desire. Check out my journal http://www.mychristianpsychic.com/

I was born in '93 and my birth time is recorded on my birth certificate, so I seriously doubt my houses are wrong. Maybe there's strong enough influence in the rest of my chart to lessen or heal the wound? I do have Pluto in my 1st house, so maybe I'm just a strong enough person that Chiron doesn't affect me, or perhaps I went through some self-transformation that healed the wound. IP: Logged |

At any rate, Chiron's house seems to be the area where people feel the most wounded. Please share.
Mine is: Chiron 10°04' Taurus, in House XI What does it mean? Thanks in advance! Love and Light

Funny that you can't love others if you donn't love yourself but can heal others even if you don't heal yourself :-)
I never thought about this. To me, Chiron rules Virgo, so i would look at it this way and in this way, I think yes.
The Chiron wound is weird that way. You can others from the place you will never fully heal That is my take on it, anyway. Others may differ.

Yes. She was born a week earlier. So, does that mean I would share the same configuration with anyone born close to my date? IP: Logged |

Chitin in my 7th.....I have horrible luck with relationships and am pretty sure I'm destined to be alone. Funny thing though, I always pick guys who need "work" like guys with addiction issues, commitment issues, etc....and while they're in relationship with me they're horrible but then usually go on to enter other relationships as emotionally healthy and mature people. Maybe I'm here to "fix" them for their future partners?? Lol. IP: Logged |

Hi Blackbird- My Chiron is also in Gemini in the 4th...I feel the same way you do! Incliding the whole roots, relationship with my mother, and not furnishing my apartment....weird. I always feel lost, like something is missing, when realistically, I "have it all". IP: Logged |

I am a Cap sun, Sag ascendant, Taurus moon My Chiron is in Pisces in my 3rd house (along with Saturn in Pisces)...I would love to know more about this placement.I grew up with 2 brothers (one I am close to and the other is VERY conservative and finds it challenging to relate to me) I have never felt hurt by this just a bit frustrated as I have tried to reach out and he always keeps a distance (he distances himself from my entire family of origin as well) Since the Chiron is Pisces it could be a father wound. My father (and mother) was emotionally immature and unavailable to me growing up...I do wish at times that I had a father figure to turn to but it doesn't feel hopelessly painful (you can't miss what you never had defined in your life). I have a Taurus Moon and so yes I wish my family of origin was a more cohesive unit...perhaps that is the wound Any feedback is welcome (my apologies I posted this in the wrong forum originally...therefore this is a double posting)

Ami Anne, what you said about Chiron in the 9th seems bang-on to me. Not only with the spirituality part but with the travel. I've been traveling the world since I was a teenager (lived overseas for a while) and even though I love it and live for it, I either meet a foreign stranger or a friend from another country and I seem to have the same falling out.Long story short, I think you said it very well for me IP: Logged |
