It is no wonder that , even though Earth and air are of differing elements, they do share a lot more empathy once ruled by the same planet.

You have Sun/Moon and Mercury ruled by Venus; Moon in exaltation in Taurus. So you have a lot more Venus traits that are attracting to him.

Also, your Venus in Scorpio(love of sex and all things erotic) expresses itself in the house of "self". Perhaps not too Venusian-in the conventional sense- but it does add to your identification with things that have an erotic/sexual beauty.

He has a restless combo of Moon, mercury and Venus in Sag, Aries and Gemini respectvely; making him more of a wanderlust.

His Moon opposing his Venus does concern me a bit; as it points to someone who may be emotionally unstable.
