I'm not sure if depression is quite the word to use, but I'm worried about a friend of mine. She's pretty logical and can see things with a clear perspective and knows when to take her emotions out of things, but at the same time she's very sensitive to what goes on in the world. It's kind of like bad things that go on in the world become personal tragedies to her, whereas with her own problems she can just breeze past them. I don't know. She isn't selfish at all but it seems like she drowns in emotions sometimes, which can be misinterpreted by those who don't know her as well. Her main goal in life is to help people. She plans on joining the peace corps once she finishes her Psychology degree. She says things like how she can't imagine ever living a normal life, like getting a normal job & spending money on rent, utilites, etc every month while people are starving and don't even have water. But, she's been in a funk for about 3 months now so I've been trying to get her out of it. Anyone see any aspects that could explain it and any helpful tips in dealing with them?

Moon opposite Saturn. Moon conjunct Chiron. 12th house placements. She has transiting Saturn squaring her natal Saturn - a difficult time. And transiting Neptune opposes the ASC - blurry influence, she may not see herself and others clearly. Transiting Saturn will square her Leo planets, so she may find it difficult to be happy-go-lucky at this time. Be there for her, and if it gets too serious, seek professional help. IP: Logged |
