Is it just me or is it happening? I'm noticing more and more people religously reading their horoscopes and talking about their love interests sun signs etc. My mom has been asking me her compatibilty with guys she is dating and so forth. Just tonight I was at my sisters house and her and her guy friend were talking about sun sign compatibility and she was contemplating on asking her crush what sign he is.She ended up asking him and he was a taurus and she was like "omg!! we are compatible" . I ended up explaining more about astrology to my sister and her friend and even did their charts. They are both double cancers! (sun and ascendant) no wonder they get along soo well! I'm seeing more and more people interested in pop astrology and I take it as a good
sign. I mean horoscopes and sun signs are very basic and simplistic but its a start.

I would guess that astrology must feature in some popular TV show (or movie) then.

Or maybe it's that MSNBC thing where they show vids on the paranormal and gets a lot of views (for example, after they did one on Black Eye Children it seemed everyone was talking about them again), maybe they did one on astrology lately.

I haven't noticed it but then most I know well don't watch things like that. I've heard a couple people ask if others believed in it but I don't know what inspired them (and most said no).

Heh yeah I've noticed the same thing. It seems to me that people are searching for "answers" and "meanings" with renewed vigour lol. In the other astrology forum that I join there have been so many new threads by new members.

I have never found one person who is not interested in his own chart.

I will have people go on and on that they think astrology is stupid but when you start talking about their chart, they are all ears

Yeah, people seem a lot more open to it. A couple of them that I told about my hobby did know a bit about it. They were pretty interested, gave me their birth time so I could check their chart (sometimes together), etc. It's nice!
