Topic: Simple Question On Aspects In The Chart

I circled the area I am asking about. I am sure that the -1 or 1(whatever number it may be -/+) are the orbs for the aspect. What does the A and S stand for to its right. And do the color of the aspects simple signify if its good or bad, or does it have to do with the elements. Thanks  IP: Logged |

The blue lines are favorable aspects( easy aspects)The red lines are hard aspects/struggles. A means applying and S means separating. This is the movement of the planets. ------------------

Ok cool thank you Ami Anne..Just to make sure Does the Applying and Separating within a aspect represent the starting of the conjunction and the faster planet's movement to 180degrees/Opposistion than it's continued movement back to the conj?IP: Logged |

Applying means the planets are coming closer to an exact orb (0 difference in degree)So if I had Venus in Leo 2 degrees and Sun in Leo 3 degrees, the aspect would be SEPERATING, because the Sun is the faster planet and it is leaving the exact conjunction. If I had pluto at 5 degrees scorpio and Sun at 1 degree scorpio, it'd be an APPLYING planet because the sun is faster at moving than pluto and it is getting closer so it's applying. pluto wont move anywhere  This plays a major part in aspects, applying aspects are more intense and play a more prominent part in your psyche where as seperating are sort of less intense, because obviously the aspect is seperating IP: Logged |
