Yeah that makes sense, I think I've learned to build up a wall though to prevent feeling that vulnerable... Idk how this aspect plays out exactly, but I know I pick up on other people's energy very strongly too. Like I can basically "sense" things without actually communicating with someone, which can also be unnerving and yeah sometimes I could do without all the weird vibes flying around lol

Yeah I guess I would say I at least want to be spiritually compatible with a partner, and ideally help each other grow... But I won't rule someone out if their beliefs are different, just as long as they are tolerant of mine as well

I will say though I fell completely in love (doesn't happen often for me) with someone who was somewhat of a spiritual guru for me... When things didn't work out it left me struggling with some of my own spiritual beliefs without his guidance and affirmation I guess. So that's interesting I've never thought of Neptune conjunct DSC in that way

As for looking for my ego through a partner, yeah I'll admit I've been guilty of that too lol

I need to hone it down to a sentence or two to use it with clients. People want practical info and that is my goal when using asteroids.

I can definitely relate a lot to the story in terms of the environment I grew up in… Because of that I’m terrified of ending up in a similar situation with no freedom or control. How it plays out in my chart: I don’t think warm and affectionate Venus merges well with repressed/rebellious Ophoilia. I don't have traditional views on relationships, and don’t want to end up as some sort of submissive housewife… But yet I tend to attract/choose people who are either overly controlling and want to turn me into that loyal doting gf, or people who aren’t looking for a commitment at all… So I end up re-creating my own fears even though I know better, and basically I’m still just as trapped romantically if there’s no middle ground
