Does this mean that I'm always going to be facing upheaval in my life?Aside from the fact that I just don't see how my ASC in Leo is "me" (stelliums in both Virgo and Libra seem much more accurate), I'm just plain confused. Other Uranus aspects: sextile Mars, square Eros. SO confused. IP: Logged |

Boy. Ellyn, I just don't see it. The Leo has NEVER seemed to fit me. I'm NOT outgoing. AT ALL! One astrologer in my twenties called me a "social hermit", meaning that I love people and being around them, but am SO much more comfortable one on one with someone. Parties throw me, seriously. (Venus conjunct Pluto in Virgo (1st) and Moon in late Virgo (2nd); NN, Sun, Mars and Mercury in Libra (3rd); Sun, Mars and Mercury conjunct if using 10 degree orb). I have been told that I have a goofy sense of humor. But I'm quiet. And I only open up around people that I've gotten to know and trust. So I just don't get the Leo! (Not trying to contradict you, really. I just never have understood this. Other than the loyalty factor. That fits.) IP: Logged |

Oh, it's that Saturn Square the Sun, I bet.You probably don't remember, I did your chart a while back in Personal Readings. The reason I asked about time, the Ascendant changes very quickly. Birthtime can make a world of difference. IP: Logged |

Actually, Ellyn, I do remember. (You do so may readings, I'm surprised that you remember!)Thank you for pointing out that Saturn square Sun. This newbie didn't even catch that one! So, the Saturn sobers up the Sun? Squashes the personality and prevents it from fully coming out? IP: Logged |

Well, it kind of Squares the Nodes as well, with the Vertex on it, it makes the Cross complete, so that part's not so great...The good part is the Venus/Pluto in Trine, and the Boomerang to Neptune. Those parts are great. Don't know why my Chart Patterns don't show a Boomerang, drives me nuts. IP: Logged |

Thank you, Ellyn. When you have something like Venus/Pluto conjunct and then trining Saturn, how do you figure the meaning of the aspect? Do you look up Venus trine Saturn and then Pluto trine Saturn or does the conjunction take on a life of it's own that then relates to Saturn? Does that make any sense? I'm so new to this. You start with the Conjunction, and get a fix on how those energies merge, then you look to the Aspects. The Houses they fall in will tell you what department of life they will happen in. IP: Logged |
