Thanks for closing yet another double topic of mine. Don't what's up with that lol.So surprised at the limited options or lack of in Ireland. Hoping someone can tell me about a college or course. I've ordered quite a few books that should keep me going for now Otherwise I might consider relocating. IP: Logged |

What have you ordered?I would think books would do you well. If you want to learn how to calculate your own, I know the Rosicrucians come highly recommended. They are located in Oceanside, California though. IP: Logged |

Went a bit nuts on Amazon and just ordered what looked good.Llewellyn's Complete Book of Astrology: The Easy Way to Learn Astrology- ha ha I need this one most. Aspects in astrology. Planets and Asteroids. There was another one about soul mates but can't remember the name. I'll see what they are like. I'll order more if I need to. There's a University here where you can study metaphysics. Considering this also. IP: Logged |

I modeled my design on the chart wheel in that Llewellyn book.It looks like the Helm on a Nautical Journey, heh heh. It's a really good book to start with. This is a good one as well: http://www.harpercollins.com/browseinside/index.aspx?isbn13=9780062720047

Thanks LucieL. Yep there's an online course in Ireland too and it's not too expensive either. Are you starting one too? IP: Logged |

I don't know.... I keep going back and forth about the whole thing. I'd like to go back to Uni. I've been looking at Scotland and Ireland, but I can't decide what to study. Ideally I'd like to study art history at the Master's level but most schools won't take me because my BA is not in art history. I don't think I can spend another 4 yrs doing a BA again.... The astrology thing intrigues me. And if I can do a distance course even better so I don't have to move. Which is the course you found in Ireland?

This is what I did for about a year. I went into the Personal Readings Forum and did charts. I would do them for hours a day. I never thought I would become a professional astrologer. I just loved doing charts. I loved helping people. I never could have foreseen the blessings God has given me but this volunteer opportunity was at the root of it. There is no amount of reading that can take the place of actual doing of charts imo ------------------ Want To Ask Any Question About Bible Prophecy? Go For it. Best way to learn I imagine. But not sure if I could without some guidance. I will see how I go with the books I ordered and maybe try a few. Thanks IP: Logged |

Thanks for the link. I like learning on my own. But I'm a sucker "formal" learning. I love schools. I keeping saying I should just get a job in a school. IP: Logged |
