My dad was adopted and even though I have the birth certificate in my hand right now, it lists his adoptive parents as his biological and no birth time. He doesn't know anything about his real parents except that they didn't want him to ever know who they were and that they were an interracial couple. My dad was born in 1943 in Honolulu, Hawaii during the time when Japanese and Americans were at war; he does know that his biological mom was Japanese and his dad was German-American.

I want to rectify his chart just because I've always wanted to know basically. How do I do it? Should I do transits for the day of his wedding and the day of my birth? What events and their aspects should I look at to surmise an accurate birth time?
