So my mars in cancer in 3rd house sextile my mercury in aries 1st house both aspecting my moon in scorpio 8th house .. What does this yod mean??

The focus of Yod's usually encompasses the axis that it surrounds, therefore yours would be the 2nd-8th houses of personal self-reliance and shared intimacy and resources. I believe your synchronicity with nurses is a projection of your own understanding of how to 'nurse' others or take care of others, but you attract the energy because you haven't integrated it into yourself as of yet. Yod energies do not become 'apparent' until enough time has passed that we can integrate the quincunx energies. Some people with Yod's never ever feel their Yod, but when you feel it, it can become the sole (soul) focus of your personality. Going back to your Yod, I don't feel it's enough that you just penetrate and help others see their emotional problems but also that you guide them towards self-healing and empowerment of the 2nd house.

If you're under 30, I wouldn't even worry too much about the Yod, just keep doing the internal (chakra) work and the Yod will find the correct pathways as your body's energies get balanced.

[edit] I just read your post in Vedic Astrology. It seems you have Venus in Taurus opp. Moon, so you have a Boomerang type of Yod which I somewhat expected but couldn't confirm until now. Yes, definitely I believe it's in your path to guide and help others (though only if they want it), but if they do, you have a 'gift' and can get through where others might not be able to.
