What points to a person living a long life? My family members on my mom's side have all lived long and are still alive! My mom is 61, my dad is 74, my grandma is 81 and my great grandma will turn 100 god willing she lives to her birthday on December 16th. My almost 100-year-old great grandma's chart is of particular interest to me since she's obviously lived quite long (born December 16th, 1917!)IP: Logged |

A really warm and loving home environment contributes to a long life. Loneliness kills. You must also believe in something. Have some sort of optimistic faith in something larger than your relative reality to give you purpose. The willingness to let go of emotional baggage i.e hurt feelings, humiliation and/or trauma from the past. Also you must be able to have a sense of humour. Because life can get pretty sh***. So you must be able to look at the humour side of things. When it comes to health, Ceres to Sun/Moon may help. Saturn in 8th can suppress death and Mars in 6th can quickly fight off illnesses that may erupt. Aries Sun energy by natal or progression has a "never give up" spirit. And the willingness to keep at it. Sag/Gemini Sun energy by natal or progression remains fascinated and interested in life. So long as the enthusiasm isn't doused out. Cap/Scorpio Sun energy by natal or progression can live long because of a fear of death. All in all, there is no set formula except perhaps a decision made each day to love life completely;the goid and the bad. People often die because of being dispirited or disillusioned by the pains/loss of what life brings: beauty fading, friends dying, family dying, agility being compromised, worry about the future welfare and self sustenance etc. To be honest with you, I dont want to get to 100 anymore. When i was younger, i thought i would want to. But now i wonder if i can afford to mantain myself for that long? IP: Logged |

Ooh I have many of these placements or variations of them. 8th house Saturn in Aquarius and Saturn rules Aquarius, 8th house Ceres, Cap moon, Cap dominant, Aries/Taurus sun cusp!

I've read (not tested) that Saturn in harmonious aspect to Sun can indicate a long life.IP: Logged |
