Hello, yes, I guess you might be baffled by the title because my forum name is literally about Fire Trine yet I seemed to be unaware of potential of the Fire Trine.I’m 24 and have been in different relationships, from time to time I was told that the Composite chart serves as an abstract, theoretical representation of the relationship but at times I was also told that Composite chart is only referred once cohabitation / bedding has occurred since two souls only blended as one after such process. So, does that mean a Composite chart can be irrelevant before marriage or cohabitation? Secondly, I do have a Fire tribe and was told that it’s rare and it’s a very bountiful aspect - a talent people call it. However, I had also seen a few cases where people containing the trine ended up wasting their talents - they are usually pretty laid-back (like me), even commented as lazy sometimes (also me). Unlike a water tribe, which clearly gives one talents in arts or clairvoyance, a fire trine did not give me sporty stamina or any sort of creation or tenacity in facing the challenge? I was told that it probably shines in business for it’s a 2nd, 6th, 10th house but I’m so bad at it .... Can anyone with fire trine share their thoughts Thank you This is my chart : http://imgur.com/rFSnjGP IP: Logged |

You do not have a Grand Trine, TFT. ... Sun-Mars = 17th harmonic aspect : Sun-Jupiter = 13th harmonic aspect : Mars-Jupiter = 56th harmonic aspect.13th harmonic = searching for identity, by adventurously testing your limits. (David Hamblin interpretation) 17th harmonic = rebelliousness, subversiveness, campaigning for change. (David Hamblin interpretation) 56th harmonic = "crusader", searching for a mission. (Astrocalc interpretation) Hence ... this natal triangle will be manifesting very differently from a Grand Trine, in which the three 3rd harmonic aspects would produce someone that takes his talents for granted (and usually assumes that everyone else has them). My guess is your natal triangle (in fire signs) enables you to "discover-and-be yourself" (a gay male?) even if others within your society disapprove. ... And, that is indeed a talent. IP: Logged |

Thank you for your reply. Oh? It's not a Grand Trine? I see... because there was this professor who got me into Astrology said I have. Thanks for informing. Interesting interpretation, how do you tell if the tier/ranking of the aspect? Like how do you know it's a 13th harmonious aspect? So it's a triangle, not a grand trine, perhaps due to how they were not exactly the same degrees apart harmoniously? Okay, I do have the tendency of presuming everybody knows the talent, but what is likely that talent, may I ask... Thank you. IP: Logged |

Harmonic aspects are just a division of the 360 degree circle by any whole number. ... So, 13H = 360 degrees divided by 13 = 27degs41mins33seconds of arc - and all 13 multiples of that are 13th harmonic aspects. quote: there was this professor who got me into Astrology said I have a Grand Trine
He probably allowed an orb of 8 degrees for trines, which many astrologer/students do. ... However, my own view is that - for an accurate interpretation we should at least try to use the harmonic (rather than ptolemaic) aspect that has the closest orb - even though there is currently much more empirical evidence to support ptolemaic aspect interpretations than there is to support harmonic aspect interpretations. So ... what talent did the professor consider to be bestowed by your Grand Trine?

Well, she just said it's very good, very good, good for business, considering how Mars is in Leo, she also said it's good for the showbiz. Discover and be myself talent, eh? I do at times have the thoughts of "why can't people just be little honest about themselves, is that so hard?" I guess it's good talent essential for north node in 5th Scorpio, which I guess, is to find self this lifetime. IP: Logged |

Yes. ... Fire signs are initiators/self-starters. ... So, this natal triangle would be an asset in both business and showbiz. ... Which is strengthened by it being in the 2nd/6th/10th houses of resources/work/career - and combining the qualities of Sun/Mars/Jupiter (creativity/drive/ethics). So ... although the aspects themselves are (probably) just giving you the confidence to "be yourself" ... the combination of planets/signs/houses and aspects should indeed help you to succeed in business (or/and showbiz). Give yourself a pat on the back for this triangle, TFT ... because those combined personality factors have been earned over many lifetimes. IP: Logged |
