I like someone with this placement. I’m not a foreigner to them but I am a different race.IP: Logged |

This kind of dogmatic classification is traditionally used for reading vedic charts. Problem with mixing the two is it’s highly unlikely the seventh lord is in the twelfth house, moreso the planet considered the seventh lord in western likely is not the same planet ruling the 7th in your D1. All planets shift 20° backwards, including Ascendant (Lagna)Sorry I couldn’t answer your question but it’s not clear youre reading the sutras (rules) of astrology with the correct system. Ok so it’s verdic astrology that says this about the 12th house. I’m familiar with Western astrology that’s the house system I use. And with Western Astrology it’s the 9th house that represents having a foreigner spouse thanks.

Well, certanly not "always" but in most cases yes - the spouse is diferent, foreign, and yes other race counts imho - 12th house foreign is "exotic" not familiar at allIP: Logged |

I’ve always read that it’s the 9th house that represents foreigners. And the 12th being the house of things which are hidden. Which is why I was confused but I guess with Verdic astrology it’s different. IP: Logged |

In Vedic this is an indicator of marrying someone of a different community but one indicator alone is not enough. You usually need to have a few indicators.IP: Logged |

What i have seen in a few examples( my own included) is contacts between Venus and Uranus make you open to a different nationality/race etc as Uranus sees all people equal. i have Uranus in my 7th and i married a foreigner (sextile Jupiter and SAturn in the 6th and inconjunct Venus in 12th) My husband has Venus sextile Uranus and he also married a foreigner ( me )..his Uranus is in the 4th house.

Uranus/Venus does indeed reveal a long-distance relationship and that also includes the two partners coming from different countries or even having an age gap. It is not called an electric connection for nothing. This is a super charged passionate relationship. Partners are drawn like magnets to each other. I do have something for this aspect to share. In 2014 a very famous American writer was visiting my country for a presentation of his books. I call him the man of illusions. Of course I wanted to talk to him, to see him from close as I am a big fan of his and I have read all of his books. I remember that he was writing something on a notebook and as I was walking towards him, he lifted his eyes, we looked at each other and...he fell off his chair. Literally. He found himself on the ground. As far as I remember my Uranus touches this Aquarius man's Venus (or is it his Ascendant now that I think of it again? I don't remember). Plus there is a huge age gap in between us. 29 years apart. Just a small example of Uranus/Venus aspect from a personal experience (if my Uranus does indeed aspects his Venus). IP: Logged |
