I have a very difficult time understanding astrological terminology. I’d like to know the general meaning of three 29s and a 28.41 in my chart. I read Linda-Land regularly for the education it gives me as a beginner. I’m older, American, and don’t aspire to anything more than a general ability to understand charts. But that 29.54 Saturn in Scorpio in my twelfth house... gives me the willies. If it matters, I have lived a very isolated life but am as happy as other people with more lively lives. Thank you! The last degree of every sign is known as the Anaretic Degree ... and, in my opinion, indicates a specific lesson to be learned (in the current lifetime) - relating to the sign.Hence, the lesson that is being learned tends to be very apparent to everyone except the chart owner himself/herself. That's why it's a disheartening chart! Four 29s, a 28, even a 22. I know enough to know that it's good I didn't know anything when I was a kid IP: Logged |

Randall, Thank you so much for these bumps. What I wouldn't give to have someone read the chart I posted, but until then, these bumps are a way of saying, "Linda Land didn't forget you."IP: Logged |

Placements in the final degree or so of a sign indicate a mode of expression to that planet's energy reaching an ending point or transition point in your soul development. Saturn in Scorpio encapsulates issues related to control, containment, fears of sharing or depending on others, focusing of your internal deeper energies in a purposeful way; outgrowing resentment and inflexibility as a way of dealing the regrets or pains of the past. It can be seen as a preparation phase for (next lifetime's) engaging in more outward efforts in a more open, flexible, less agenda-driven way as seen with (Saturn in) Sagittarius. There's no disadvantage, nothing negative from having planets in the last degree or so of a sign. Sometimes the aspects help point out patterns that need to be outgrown so you don't get stuck in a particular phase of your soul growth. Late sign placements are landmarks nearing a conclusion in a particular part of your growth process. ------------------ Soul Stars Astrology by The Declinations Guy Expert birth chart rectification IP: Logged |

You need to be more specific about what you want from that reading of your chart, PL. A general reading takes hours of work, and it is frustrating for the reader to then get a reply along the lines of "thanks for your interpretation - but what I was really hoping to hear about is .........". For example ... Mercury is the sole dispositior of all other planets in your natal chart, so everything in that chart is ultimately working to achieve your Mercury objective. And that includes the Anaretic degree Pluto-Neptune-Saturn+NN learning triangle. ... So, perhaps you would benefit from exploring the role of natal Mercury specifically - rather than obtaining a general interpretation of your chart or/and planets at the 29th/Anaretic degree.
