Let's look at the future first:

MC ruler Mars in 9th with Karma in a delicious minor triangle opposing....my Sun! Will I play a major role in our meeting as the drive force of the Kite or am I getting megalomaniac here? Future looks good from this side, squares Vertex axis - there will be a change of plans or some unexpected event leading to our meeting. NN ruler Saturn is there too, connected with the Kite.

My Nerthus + C.'s Njord. These Scorpio angles are on his natal Ascendant. I also got his MC-IC, not conjunct though. My Njord on his natal IC. IC-DSC on my Mars. His ASC on my Venus. In our natal synastry we have my ASC conjunct his MC too.
