Awww, feels so cozy here with all those lovely charts. I like the idea of progressed persona charts, they're perfect for part two.------------------ what goes up must come down, so when you're feeling down, the only way to be is up IP: Logged |

This isn't about synastry, but google sent me over to this - looks like a very official Personas thread. Has anyone tried looking at natal harsh aspects through each planet's persona chart? Right now, I'm checking my Uranus persona, since I have such a long pattern of unconsciously choosing unavailable partners (whether physically or emotionally) and thought it's time to check out what Uranus wants. I just couldn't seem to *get* it. Wow. My mouth fell open seeing it. Venus in Aquarius (11th house) square Moon conjunct Pluto in Scorpio in my 7th house. Also conjunct Juno to boot - a need [Moon] for relationships [7th house] that are committed [Juno] and intense [Plluto]. Yes... I do that a lot. On one hand, I'm afraid to scare off a partner/potential partner with my emotions and intense need to be together, so I tend to overcompensate with being okay with everything, super friendly, super cool and so not jealous and clingy (Aqua Venus). To impress them. But then once we get closer, yes, the Scorpio comes out, because it wants attention too. I've suffered a lot of trauma as a child and teenager and at least in the past, I was deep down always looking for someone who could help me work these things out - and make up for the lack of nurturing and understanding I've had growing up. Totally not what those Uranian, Aquarius partners need. But the few times I had someone genuinely in love with me, and choosing to go for me 100%, I would get scared of their intensity, like, wow, I didn't see that coming and felt like I hadn't done enough or anything special to earn that right (their unconditional love). So I'm still not really sure what Uranus in my Venus-Uranus square wants (and Moon/IC conjunct Uranus), but at least I've finally seen the conflict - and what kept happening. That alone gives me some comfort and well-deserved peace and quiet. Other important stuff in the chart: Uranus in Cap in the 10th conjunct MC, Sun, Neptune and Saturn. Mercury on the other end of that stellium. Maybe he mostly wants recognition [10th house] and being appreciated for his uniqueness, thinking out of the box, etc. Kind of ironic how I'd reject my Uranus a lot (it's Rx) and here in his chart, it's right on top on the MC. Uranus here rules the 12th, Saturn the 10th and 11th, and Neptune intercepted ruler of the 12th. That Neptune and 12th house hit home: I easily get tired and do need downtime alone for a nap more often than others (=unusual) I can't always do things spontaneously and have to watch my energy level over the course of the week. In my natal chart I have Uranus also conjunct Neptune, so that just reinforces it. Okay, I was talking to myself out loud here a lot, but anyone else who has tried this? Like compare both charts and see how they "talk" to each other.
I think it's fun and can give a lot of insight into yourself. IP: Logged |

Hi yes, this is the actual fun in it, you look at the Persona of that particular planet, or you can even make a synastry or composite of two planets in a particular aspect in your chart, to gather additional clues about that aspect. That's something I haven't tried yet, aspect personas, but reading your post now, I think it's an interesting symbolic look at one aspect, so I will probably check, for example my almost exact Venus/Neptune square ------------------ I seem to have loved you in numberless forms... We actually did this for synastry. For example, comparing his Mars Persona to my Venus Persona (synastry + composite), I considered I am actually looking at our Venus sq Mars. But I'm not sure we did it for a natal aspect as well; it's pretty cool, I am looking at my Venus/Neptune square charts and they indeed tell the story of my square hahahaha I will post them later. ------------------ I seem to have loved you in numberless forms... Interesting. My natal Venus exactly conjuncts his Venus persona descendant and my sun conjuncts his Venus persona Vertex.IP: Logged | |
