So many chart types, so little time.I know how to do a Persona chart on astro.com, but am I correct that I'd have to do the comparisons manually (or own some other software to do it?) IP: Logged |

No, I don't think so, you'll have to do it visually and manually. IP: Logged |

You can generate persona charts like natal charts and then do a synastry. Use the red dates and times.------------------ I'm sooo happy! I mean, cappy. IP: Logged |

You can look up the time and date of the object you want to make a persona chart to compare with another chart. It makes things a lot easier. IP: Logged |

Yes, I think so, your Taurus/Venusian theme from the Moon chart repeats itself in the natal. IP: Logged |

Speaking of performers, what about Michael Fassbender? He is half German, half Irish. Doesn't he ring any bell for you?
Nah, not really. Mr Fassbender I mean. Curiously though Mr Sag has his IRELAND on 3 Sag conjunct my IRELAND and Mars, both on 5 Sag. and in composite asteroid GUINEVERE is conjunct it as well (you know she was Irish, right? ).

This is the synastry of my MARS-Persona with his VENUS-Persona.role reversal? (interestingly it is my Sun who is conjunct his Moon, not the other way round, too) [/URL]

Yes, I thought so.Just usually we compare the female Venus-persona with male Mars-persona. What does the reverse indicate? Animus/Anima-projection? And if so how to interprete it? IP: Logged |

No, astro.com now allows to do something better!!!!Just generate a persona chart, then press "add this data to my astro", and that's it. It allows you to do REAL synastry between these persona charts without even bothering. IP: Logged |

Traditionally, your Mars Persona would be your "type", his Venus Persona, his "type". However, although I included it in the OP, I've found so far that our "type" is much more complex than Mars for the woman and Venus for the man. Nevertheless, for this archetype I recommend natal/venus and natal/mars comparisons. (your natal/his venus, his natal/your mars) Maybe it does trigger your type, on a very primal level, that animus/anima you are talking about (although I'd connect that more with Sun and Moon than Venus/Mars) I think a woman Mars Persona with a man Venus Persona will show how or what he loves about her body type and energy/sexuality/drive, how her mere presence and sexuality triggers his love, admiration, is to his taste, finds beautiful. On the other hand, it would show how the woman feels sexy and admired, what turns her on in his style of loving, how she stokes the fire of his love with her "physical" presence and actions. Leeloo, I take it if he/she is not their interest's type, then the charts would be scatter with very few aspects? If there are Sun/Moon, Venus/Mars aspects, Angles conjunct but also hard aspects from Saturn and outer planets, do you think it'd diminish the attraction?------------------ what goes up must come down, so when you're feeling down, the only way to be is up IP: Logged |

It's hard to generalize about Saturn and the outer planets. It depends on the specific role the outer planet plays in the Persona chart, because it could actually enhance rather then diminish the attraction, IMO. And Saturn on angles could mean long lasting attraction. If, for example, the man has Mars conjunct Saturn in his Venus chart and the woman puts her Venus there, I don't think Saturn diminishes the attraction. Or, let's say the woman has a Mars opp.Neptune in her Mars Persona chart (idealizing a certain type of men, depending on house/sign/ruler etc.) and a man puts his Mars or Venus chart Sun there...he might as well be her ideal man.

Persona charts are definitely really interesting to work with. I believe they can add a lot more information and depth but they are not easy to interpret.Has anyone tried the draconic persona charts? You can store the data of your persona chart on astro.com and then get the draco placements of the chart. I've been experimenting withs ome of these lately and the results are quite interesting .. though to be honest I wouldn't know how to read those. IP: Logged |
