My guess would be(and this is only a guess) A new encounter in this incarnation, like you have never really been together in any other one, but have come together for a new, exiting experience. IP: Logged |

Thank you for responding! We have some draconic to natal synastry aspects too- I'm still new to astrology & sort of putting the pieces all together. Anyone want to help me out with uranus being a player in a synastry? Do "Uranian" type couples ever last or is it the "unpredictable"? I won't list all the aspects but uranus seems to be semi prominent. Thank you!IP: Logged |

Uranus is a BIG player in my synastry with someone i consider my soulmate. We have been together in previous incarnations so i don't agree with the fact that he must be someone NEW. It has to do with other aspects though - nodes must be activated, Saturn, Karma, etc. And yes, it's unpredictable. Right now we have a close friendship, but somehow i think it is going to change, since there are tons of exact Uranus aspects in our synastry. Uranus was even the one that brought us together by transit. IP: Logged |

Oh, yes they can definitely! Sometimes Uranus adds a bit of flare and makes things in the relationship not dull. However, watch out for negative aspects(opposition, square.)IP: Logged |

Oh, whoops! I guess I just automatically assumed since Uranus is the unexpected it would be new.

Have you checked your progressions as described in the Paul Westran thread to see in which stage you are with your Venus Sun ASC, now and at the beginning of your relationship, if any (I mean the aspects)? It's really worth a try. IP: Logged |

Well, i'll check progressed synastry, but in regular we have his Venus on my DSC. So it's Venus-Venus point activated. Or, Venus opposite ASC, which would then be Venus opp Mars. On the day we met, his progressed Venus was EXACTLY opposite my natal Sun - i guess it always shows something starting! Now - soon my progressed Sun is going to trine his natal Venus. IP: Logged |

Would his progressed sun conjunct my progressed Asc count? We aren't a couple tho. It's a definite soul connection- very painful... IP: Logged |

I have the natal Uranus opposite Vertex, and I'm prone to sudden flashes on intuition. Especially about astrology (which is said to be Uranus ruled). In synastry, I'd say the Uranus person would have sudden flashes on intuition the would feel profoundly relevant, on a personal level, to the the Vertex Axis person. The unique, unexpected things about the Uranus person would stand out in the the Vertex Axis person's mind. The Vertex Axis person is most likely captivated by the Uranus person in this way. The Uranus person's objective insight feels to the Vertex Axis person as if it's leading the Vertex person towards some type of fated destination or revelation. There's a kooky synchronicity here. Nataly I've noticed that the Vertex Axis in our chart (by signs, house, and aspect) refers to the parts of our lives that we are remembered for in general, and the haunting impression that we leave those around us with. The impression we leave others with using the Vertex Axis is different from the impression we make using the Asc. If we have a Gemini Asc we may have a chatty lighthearted demeanor. But lets just say we have Pluto opposite the Vertex... Perhaps, despite our cheerful demeanor, we have a tendency to get involved in intense relationships... And THAT is the haunting memory about ourselves that we leave others with in general. The detail about our life that stands out to others. Getting to the synastry part again. People who aspect our Vertex Axis seem to be able to tune into our fated-path, or personal story, and pull strings for us. Depending on how our Vertex Axis aspects their chart they may be attracted or repelled by the haunting impression we leave them with. If their chart does not aspect it at all they will be neutral to it. With Uranus conjunct the Vertex, the Uranus person will find the Vertex-Axis person's fated path, personal story, and the haunting impression that they leave, fascinating. The Uranus person will be curious about the Vertex Axis person's life journey, in terms of the seemingly 'fated' events that were personally significant in the Vertex Axis person. The Vertex Axis person would be like a puzzle to the Uranus person that they'd like to figure out. IP: Logged |
