Hi, I'd love to analyze your chart, Peluches but I need the basic geometry, the one between planets; you can leave the asteroids, but only draw the standard aspects (standard orb). ------------------

I'll buy JUPITER on the Aries Point, definitely -- but just a lot of zero degrees? I've not seen that. Interesting theory. From where does it originate? IP: Logged |

Doing a bit of my own research, according to Celeste Teal (and, I'm guessing this is supported by 90º dial work?) the Aries Point degrees can go beyond Aries, but are all cardinal. So, she would have MARS at 0º Capricorn, standing as an AP degree. nJUPITER is 0º TAU. (My mistake.) If anything, it would be music, yes, Peluches? That's the area of focus? IP: Logged |

Music yes, handmade things (beading especially (piano on a piano !)), maths and astronomy, illusions and magic/mentalist tricks. Also, possibly meditation when I'll finally have time when I come of age. IP: Logged |

Auby,That's very interesting. I don't usually analyze my own chart that thoroughly, so I always thought the 0 degree placements meant 'beginnings'. How, when, where, I don't know. I didn't pay much attention to it. I just did a quick search on Celeste Teal's insights about the Aries Point, and I think my Mars there could indicate the abuse I told you about. It fits -- it's MARS in the 4th house (mother), conjunct 4H Nessus on the GC, 27 Sag. Looks strong, what do you think ? IP: Logged |

Not from what I've seen, though, Lee may be operating off of another theory. I'm investigating a few things now, actually. The Aries Point I know, which does seem legit. For example, a friend of mine who's helping me develop my TV series has MERC at 2º Aries. I always thought it had to be at 0º Aries, but +/- orb 2º is completely acceptable. As he's already got one major credit, (writing for Lost) and is now back in the swing on a new series, I'm going to say it's got SOME legitimacy. The Aries Point does, at least. I'll have to investigate the 0º-2º of the cardinal signs to see if there's any hits there. Someone told me that JUPITER in positive aspect URANUS is a 'fame indicator' at one point. I remember just shrugging and going, ' ... cool?' because the longer you find yourself in a place like Los Angeles, and surrounded by people of varying levels of 'fame' it becomes ... something you don't count on, but hope for, since it gets your message to more people. You've clearly got many talents, though, Peluches. You should always keep developing them in the background, as you never know! Notoriety is easier than ever before in our mass-connected world. LL is a great example. IP: Logged |

It's the higher level, theoretical approaches which seem to make the most sense to my brain; go figure! - I studied mentalism in my adolescence, and was actually an amateur magician. True fact. I think I was rather poor with it, though. Except the mentalism. THAT I remain strong in. It helped me a lot as a criminologist, as a lot of psychological profiling involves a lot of 'mindgames'. But illusion remains a fascination of mine. IP: Logged |

Oh, crap. I wanted to make you an indigo bracelet for your birthday (yes, bc I want to meet you when I'm older and give it to you then), but turns out it's not actually a real surprise like what I'd imagined. I'll have to think of something else. Won't say what. Edit : I read your other posts and will answer them later. I'm really sorry, I have to go now, will be back in a few hours' time. IP: Logged |

It's an extension of the Aries Point theory, it gives a "pioneer" kind of energy. Peluches, you can read a bit about it here: http://www.moonvalleyastrologer.com/special-points-in-mundane-astrology/ http://www.falconastrology.com/aries_point.htm ------------------ I seem to have loved you in numberless forms... Hmm... I do believe in critical degrees, fixed stars and special points like the Aries Point, but only to a certain extent. If, say, a very slow moving planet or asteroid conjuncts an AP, will it automatically be much more significant than other placements ? And will it be the case for all individuals, with no exception, born during that conjunction, or should we narrow the orb ?... Still, I wouldn't completely disregard the idea of that planet being important, in a good way or a bad way (for instance, Nessus or Eris badly aspected ?...), as it would definitely have a connection with the Draconics. Oh, wait... My Cyril must be a superstar then ! ASC at 0 CAN and Pluto at 2 LIB ! quote: Someone told me that JUPITER in positive aspect URANUS is a 'fame indicator' at one point. Lee,Gotcha. So, we have read the same stuff. In which case, in Peluches chart, specifically, she has MARS at 0º CAP, which is an AP degree. Curious, as I'd expect NEPTUNE to be the AP degree; she doesn't seem the 'warrior' type -- unless we're missing something, Peluches? Instead, you may take that assertive, go-getter energy to be more noticed in certain endeavours. Perhaps there's an asteroid conjunct from 28º SAG to 02º CAP? Huh. I just noticed that my Twin's NEP is 01º CAP, meaning, an AP degree. 'The famous movie star'. Though, NEPTUNE can also be chemistry. Damn. Am I supposed to kick his butt out of the sciences and into Hollyweird? ... or not? SO tough to tell! Meanwhile, my Guardian's CHIRON is 28º PIS; the 'famous guru'. I kinda buy that. Kinda. I feel that he could really distinguish himself as a noted guide in certain areas. My PHOLUS is right there, too, and I've absolutely helped him develop in this area. Huh. The AP degrees. Fascinating. Okay, no more derailing the thread. Sorry! IP: Logged |

The ASC on an AP degree can be 'famous friends', according to Kim Falconer, who's done the most work on that specific area. My husband has this degree: (PLUTO on 01º Libra): 'The ruthless drive for power and control is noticed socially as it wrestles with the need to plumb the depths of the unconscious mind. We are seen for our potent qualities, the dark hero who can be transformed. The famous eccentric.' I think he's on the edge of becoming a VERY successful producer. He's been writing a movie that everyone's saying is going to be a HUGE hit, as well as developing a documentary on police brutality and the social impact. I'm helping him with the right connexions (in law enforcement and the industry) to realise these ambitions, and I'm not sure how my 02º SATURN plays into things, but I suspect it does. We're a force with which to be reckoned, to be sure. IP: Logged |

Auby,It's surprisingly strange how we chose opposite paths in our music interests. I've always loved singing but didn't study it professionally. I'm just an amateur (I can hardly do a vibrato) and I sing only in a choir, which is part of the compulsory lessons at the conservatoire. Piano takes the first place. I was just thinking about our charts, and realized that the only things that we don't have in common, outer planets aside, are Mars and Moon. Moon especially. Your Moon/Uranus makes up for my for my Moon and Uranus in Aquarius, though not conjunct. But the thing is, yours is in the third, which is probably the explanation for the beautiful gift for writing you have. I compose, yes, but don't write lyrics. Chiron in the third makes it a bit hard. quote: I was recently certified in a QP course in 2013
