EDIT- Oops you just asked what might've been wrong with the synastry. I don't really know...it could be a function of his birth time? I don't know that.

And here's how it ended:

Tr Pluto was on my Venus AND on our progressed composite Venus, with tr Uranus on my Aqua DSC, which is exactly conjunct his name asteroid in my chart by the way (if it's rectified right, and I have many good reasons for thinking it is.)

There was just a "now or never" feeling to the time, and it ended up being "never."

Here is our pr composite for the day we stopped being friends, with transits. It was actually a Virgo full moon that night. Oh and I see the NN was transiting almost exactly where it is now...how time flies.

Not accurate angles or houses.

His moon was somewhere between late 29 Aries and 11 Taurus, but I strongly believe it was Taurus, as the moon shifted to Taurus just after midnight. And he acted like a Taurus moon.

So his sun turned my mutable t-square into a grand cross, and his moon may have turned my fixed t-square into a grand cross.

Also his moon may have been conjunct Jupiter at the apex of that yod (which we also have in composite.)

Thank you, Faith Full Moon, yes, I noticed many relationships end on full moon, this is very interesting.
This is a pretty awesome synastry, major pattern completion on both sides. I am trying to find a flaw for it, it's very difficult; and this, because I think there has to be some weak spot in the synastry, transits and progressions are not enough to explain the dissolution of a relationship.
One thing I notice after lots of nitpicking here: a lack of planetary aspects to both Saturns. I find it hard to believe his Moon is there, for it does create a Moon/Saturn sq and this one is hard to break so early. Also, the way you described the relationship, there were lots of power plays at some point, and in my experience this happens when the guy behaves undecided or plays; us girls tend to defend ourselves with equal games when this happens. It could have been just an immaturity, age thing though. Nevertheless, I am inclined to believe his Moon must be outside a Moon/Saturn sq. I think his Moon must be opp his Libra stellium, which probably makes him gravitate strongly towards Aqua Suns and Venus. Or his Moon could be on your MC and thus be a peregrine Moon in his chart.

I am curious, where is his ASC when his Moon conj your Jupiter?

Also, you have mutual Saturn sq nodal axis here and NN sq Saturn in the composite. The problem here, if I remember correctly, was getting together in an official romantic relationship. In a way, the romantic composite didn't activate. Otherwise you would still be together, IMO.

Maybe it was just that I was going through a really difficult phase of life and couldn't handle any more...

As for his moon, thanks for thinking it over, but I think you missed what I wrote above: If he was born at midnight on his birthday (Sept. 12) he has a late 29 Aries moon, but I think it's Taurus.

I just wrote a bunch of stuff about other hypothetical charts for him and realized it doesn't actually matter. This matters, though....

^^ Spot on. Also our composite has a ton of things hinging on that Saturn. Here I used that 6 Sag ASC for him again. Regardless of the house placements, the geometry is very telling, I think.

Don't you think so? Sorry to keep asking you to look at charts...but it IS an interesting case, I can say that for sure.

Also, I want to tell you, not only did we have that nodal axis blockage with Saturn, but the draconic-to-tropical synastry is not very impressive.

We both felt that something was missing in the romance department so we spent most of that time (6 years) as friends. Still we were just enough attracted to each other that being friends was problematic. I mean, it flat-out didn't work sometimes. There was too much love for it to be a simple friendship, but not enough passion for it to be non-stop romance. There would have been more passion from my side if I trusted him to not leave, but after he broke up with me the first time (and I didn't see it coming AT ALL), I just never trusted him fully in a romantic context again.

I'm actually both extroverted and introverted. I love my people time and I love my solo time - equally!

I'm not a broody person. I try to stay positive, as I hate being depressed. I went through all kinds of emotional HELL during some parts of my childhood and teens. So I learned EARLY ON about the dark side of others and of myself. I'm quite mature at this point.

But I embrace having Pluto in my 1st House! We've been friends for a long time now.
