I would like some advice/help on what aspects to seek out (manifest) for a good relationship with a woman who "fits me."
I've been getting pretty beat up emotionally for a few years, and with my progressed moon now in Pisces it's become quite difficult being alone.
...and I find too many single sociopaths out there.
(and I am 0% sociopath)

I just don't seem to have enough astrology knowledge to figure this out despite my best efforts and endless research.
Note: I'm open to other modalities as well, not only astrology.

My DOB: Feb 8, 1971 @ 4:10AM, Phoenix AZ USA

I recognize I do have a difficult chart regarding relationships (obviously):
-5th house Saturn in Taurus
-Saturn square Sun
-1st house Venus in Cap...Sesquiquadrate my Saturn
-Pluto square Venus & Ascendant
-Mercury opposite Moon
-Something about my Uranus?

Also:
I believe Cancer Moon is a difficult placement for a man in the USA...it's not very masculine. I've learned to channel the "needy" energy in a better way now, but I'll always be sensitive & intuitive, which I'm ok with.
I believe my 8th house Cancer moon is the most powerful, influential energy in my chart. I *have* to keep my emotional space happy or my life gets way off balance (and so here I am ). I guess I understand what most women experience, huh
So I'm thinking a Scorpio Moon (maybe in 4th house?) might be a good start? My 11th house ("love received") is in Scorpio...and I would sure enjoy being loved by Scorpio energy. Yes, might challenge my Aquarian Sun, but it works beautifully with my Moon. Just a thought.

My POF is at 17 deg Cancer in my 7th house. My life just works SO much better when I'm in a relationship.
Not to mention my 8th house Moon (trine Jupiter) wants a deep, committed connection.
Yes, I'm independent but please don't give me garbage about "I just want the good parts." I get real commitment, people get sick, life, etc.
(the woman ends it almost always)

I know Saturn requires much "inner work" and I've now worked on my Saturn lessons for several years...to express myself more 'childlike' and even my sexuality, instead of being reserved...I am very passionate & empathic, but for some reason I keep it hidden and it's difficult to 'push it out' (probably the 8th house thing).
Now I'm also working on my Venus in Cap...trying so hard to be more expressive & social and not so stoic in intimate spaces. I try to tap into my Sagittarius energy...which is easy among strangers.
I've been doing a *LOT* of inner work towards awareness & how I show up, even getting my hormones balanced.
But...seems I keep doing more of the same, expecting different results.

I've typically gravitated to older women, and I'm now trying to focus on younger, per advice.

Honestly, I just don't know anymore.
I'm such a mixed bag, and women tell me I'm hard to read & figure out.

I'm not looking for perfect, and I want to be a good match for her, too.
I've had enough that were good matches for me but I wasn't for them. -sigh-
Example: I recently met a 40yo Cancer Sun (my 7th), Cap Moon (my 1st), Aries Mars, Leo Venus (both trine my mars)...gawd that got hot quick!! ...but she was a Libra Asc & all 6 of her natal moon aspects + all 5 of her Cancer Saturn aspects were hard ...ugh... poor thing. Ended just as quick. (no doubt for the best, but it still hurt)

In truth, in trying to not be overly picky I've probably dated too many women who were just wrong for me.

Please help.

Actually, I did once (Sun & Moon). Was a very nice relationship...for a while (her Sun was on my POF) ...but she had difficult Saturn & Mars issues we couldn't overcome. So it ended (mutually). We're still friends.

I understand Cancer with Cancer is nice and comfortable but later down the road each feels like "something is missing."
Maybe other aspects can balance that out?

And I sure liked the Cancer Sun I recently met (was probably her Leo Venus & Aries Mars...felt sooo natural!)
I'm just not sure Cancers connect *with me* well.
Heck, even *I* don't connect with my Cancer well (too much male energy and it's my only water)...but I've made huge progress over time.
That sensitive 8th house Cancer Moon demanded I connect with it.

My progressed Sun is now in Aries...it's been suggested to me an Aries Sun might be good. I dated an Aries years ago...one of my *best* relationships. Have no idea her birth info. Wish I did. I ended it for several reasons.

Your moon is in my 7th house, your Sun in my 4th trine my AC + sextile~ish (wide orb 66 1/2deg) my Sun, my Venus conj your Nep/Mars + sextile your Pluto + trine your Sun, my Sun in your 5th trine your AC, our Mercuries are sextile, your Saturn conj my Mars/Jup/Nep + sextile my Uranus, my Saturn conj your Venus + sextile your Jup, my Moon sq your Sun, your AC conj my MC, my AC conj your POF...
(I enjoy synastry analysis )

Obviously I'm not an expert, but appears like a lot of good connection points.
Personally I don't care about age gaps (in either direction) ...probably the Aquarian in me ...tho many do.

I don't tend to care that much for fiery Venus/Mars. As both of mine are in earth signs - I'm solid & sensual.

Yes...I noticed your grand water trine...with that Cap Mars making your kite, trine your Taurus Venus.
My 8th Moon would like that...very sensual & flowing. And I lack water so I'm attracted to it. As well, I'm told I could use some grounding energy. The Cancer Sun/Moon I dated was in her 10th house. Very good, grounding energy for me.

Granted, aside from my Sag AC, all my Sag is in the 12th house (watery, intuitive, introspective). I'm definitely not the "wham, bam, thank you ma'am" kind of Sag.
Tho, you probably won't go camping with me.

A 5th house Sag Mars I'd think would need to 'show off' and be quite expressive, maybe overly confident. (like a "Leo Sag") I'm kind of a "Pisces Sag" Mars.

But I view Venus & Mars as merely like "spices" in a relationship...great V/M aspects will not save an otherwise bad synastry (ask me how I know ).
As well, an otherwise good synastry is fine with no V/M aspects.

Hmmm...I see you have Jup in Pisces in the 5th (trine your Moon).
I have Jup in Sag in the 12th (trine my Moon)
It's a synastry square, but I bet they relate more than just a square.

And our Pluto's are square each other's Moons. Wonder how that would play out? All the good and minimizing the bad? Can't exactly manipulate a manipulator very well...esp when you are on both the giving & receiving end. Awareness comes quick, to say the least.

I think if the last position of the Moon is about 11 Taurus that day, it should have started at about 26 Aries at midnight. So there is a possibility for the Moon to be on your Chiron. I still think the Moon is outside the Saturn sq, which would have been more compelling.
The composite T/square also requires a lot of hard work to integrate the antagonism between Saturn Uranus and Jupiter all pouring into Venus and the Yod releasing in Venus conj Uranus 5th ruler may lead to an untimely separation, a need to free oneself, especially if people are two young for the actual complexity of the relationship.
Nevertheless, these are great charts, we are just looking for some possible astrological explanation here. I am truly sorry things didn't go forever between the two of you, the charts certainly deserve that

His Sun is the perfect Sun for you, no wonder Juno is there, so I don't think the Mars sq was the problem.

As for his moon, thanks for thinking it over, but I think you missed what I wrote above: If he was born at midnight on his birthday (Sept. 12) he has a late 29 Aries moon, but I think it's Taurus.

I just wrote a bunch of stuff about other hypothetical charts for him and realized it doesn't actually matter. This matters, though....

^^ Spot on. Also our composite has a ton of things hinging on that Saturn. Here I used that 6 Sag ASC for him again. Regardless of the house placements, the geometry is very telling, I think.

Don't you think so? Sorry to keep asking you to look at charts...but it IS an interesting case, I can say that for sure.

Also, I want to tell you, not only did we have that nodal axis blockage with Saturn, but the draconic-to-tropical synastry is not very impressive.

We both felt that something was missing in the romance department so we spent most of that time (6 years) as friends. Still we were just enough attracted to each other that being friends was problematic. I mean, it flat-out didn't work sometimes. There was too much love for it to be a simple friendship, but not enough passion for it to be non-stop romance. There would have been more passion from my side if I trusted him to not leave, but after he broke up with me the first time (and I didn't see it coming AT ALL), I just never trusted him fully in a romantic context again.
