[b]I would like some advice/help on what aspects to seek out (manifest) for a good relationship with a woman who "fits me."
I've been getting pretty beat up emotionally for a few years, and with my progressed moon now in Pisces it's become quite difficult being alone.
...and I find too many single sociopaths out there.
(and I am 0% sociopath)

I just don't seem to have enough astrology knowledge to figure this out despite my best efforts and endless research.
Note: I'm open to other modalities as well, not only astrology.

My DOB: Feb 8, 1971 @ 4:10AM, Phoenix AZ USA

I recognize I do have a difficult chart regarding relationships (obviously):
-5th house Saturn in Taurus
-Saturn square Sun
-1st house Venus in Cap...Sesquiquadrate my Saturn
-Pluto square Venus & Ascendant
-Mercury opposite Moon
-Something about my Uranus?

Also:
I believe Cancer Moon is a difficult placement for a man in the USA...it's not very masculine. I've learned to channel the "needy" energy in a better way now, but I'll always be sensitive & intuitive, which I'm ok with.
I believe my 8th house Cancer moon is the most powerful, influential energy in my chart. I *have* to keep my emotional space happy or my life gets way off balance (and so here I am ). I guess I understand what most women experience, huh
So I'm thinking a Scorpio Moon (maybe in 4th house?) might be a good start? My 11th house ("love received") is in Scorpio...and I would sure enjoy being loved by Scorpio energy. Yes, might challenge my Aquarian Sun, but it works beautifully with my Moon. Just a thought.

My POF is at 17 deg Cancer in my 7th house. My life just works SO much better when I'm in a relationship.
Not to mention my 8th house Moon (trine Jupiter) wants a deep, committed connection.
Yes, I'm independent but please don't give me garbage about "I just want the good parts." I get real commitment, people get sick, life, etc.
(the woman ends it almost always)

I know Saturn requires much "inner work" and I've now worked on my Saturn lessons for several years...to express myself more 'childlike' and even my sexuality, instead of being reserved...I am very passionate & empathic, but for some reason I keep it hidden and it's difficult to 'push it out' (probably the 8th house thing).
Now I'm also working on my Venus in Cap...trying so hard to be more expressive & social and not so stoic in intimate spaces. I try to tap into my Sagittarius energy...which is easy among strangers.
I've been doing a *LOT* of inner work towards awareness & how I show up, even getting my hormones balanced.
But...seems I keep doing more of the same, expecting different results.

I've typically gravitated to older women, and I'm now trying to focus on younger, per advice.

Honestly, I just don't know anymore.
I'm such a mixed bag, and women tell me I'm hard to read & figure out.

I'm not looking for perfect, and I want to be a good match for her, too.
I've had enough that were good matches for me but I wasn't for them. -sigh-
Example: I recently met a 40yo Cancer Sun (my 7th), Cap Moon (my 1st), Aries Mars, Leo Venus (both trine my mars)...gawd that got hot quick!! ...but she was a Libra Asc & all 6 of her natal moon aspects + all 5 of her Cancer Saturn aspects were hard ...ugh... poor thing. Ended just as quick. (no doubt for the best, but it still hurt)

In truth, in trying to not be overly picky I've probably dated too many women who were just wrong for me.

Please help.
Thank you, thank you!!
-Mike

Sorry for your troubles it's a long path, the path of love but full of learning and adventure too

best choice for sun: around 0 deg. Aries or Gem, but Sun and Venus can be on any point of your Kite + gem

looking at the best solutions (sun in aries or gem):

if sun in aries, venus in gem and viceversa

mars on your dsc, in cap, or in early aries

generally, she should be strong aries and gem, but with some cancer too, perhaps asc

moon around 15 deg in
sag/gem
leo/scorpio

these can be interchanged, or combined with asc

they should be combined: preferably a leo/scorpio moon, and her having a sag/gem asc/dsc

I seem to have loved you in numberless forms...

Wow... AWESOME! Thank you so much for coming back to these.

I meet people all the time, but in a week or two I know they're not the right person for me even when I'm willing to explore them further. How do you generally go about calculating time frames for romance?

PS: Very excited about this. This is gonna give me so much reading material and things to look forward to. NOT surprisingly, I have made the best of friends with guys who are Leos and I kinda like Taureans a lot too. But I have yet to meet a girl/woman in these signs (minus one of my best friends, who was always in LTR). But the right one must be out there.

This also explains why my relationships with Geminis and Aquarian Suns haven't always been the greatest. I'm really interested in a Cancerian or Cap Venus. Never encountered that either.

Thank you sooo much LeeLoo2014.

I'm unclear about what this part means exactly:

I follow the sag/gem asc/dsc (they're opposites).

Are you saying a leo or scorpio moon @15 with sag/gem asc/dsc?

or alternatively a sag/gem moon @ 15 with a leo or scorpio asc or dsc?

I wonder why you choose Fixed moon?
Funny thing, the guy I am currently sorta having a complicated affair with matches almost everything you said, except his mars is 9 degree on my cancer south node

Okay...this is impossible...
If Sun is 0 deg Aries, Venus can never be in Gemini (Venus max from sun is 47.5 deg).
And even at 0 deg Gemini, Venus must be >13 deg Aries.

Can Venus & Sun both be early Aries...say Venus ~5 deg ?

Hmmm...but I think I'd prefer Mars in Aries (over Gem or Cap)

For clarity, does this mean Sun and/or Venus can be on...
- 7 Aries (but 0 is better for Sun)
- 28 Cancer
- 29 Virgo
- 3-4 Sagittarius
- 0 Gemini

?

Thank you, LeeLoo2014

Thank you so much LeeLoo!
What is "nn" though? Also I forgot to mention that I'm male, does it matter?

Edit: I was going to ask about the rationale, then I discovered the thread discussing the theory. (http://www.linda-goodman.com/ubb/Forum35/HTML/000168.html)

So if someone's planets fall in my secondary houses (4H,5H,7H), it activates my "hidden desires". Compare this configuration to that when someone has naturally strong 4H,5H,7H, which would be more attractive to me?

Also, why the moon needs to be in taurus, pisces or gem?

May I ask what people would say about the best options for this chart?

Their Lust ~18 Aries, Alma 8 Scorpio. Osiris ~19 Scorpio, Isis ~2 Sco.

Am I right in thinking that as per Lotis White and other people's "empty spots" preferences, something "should" be around 24-28 Aquarius (or is the Fortuna enough to complete their own pattern with that?)? Is something at 0 degrees Pisces in another person's chart too far to "hit" the Star of David style pattern?

What about something around 25 degrees Virgo, for other patterns? Should the something be right at the end of the 5H to work better into attraction-related houses? A trine to Sun and Ceres-MC seems a big potential hit and there's the opposition to the Moon as well. Or is something opposite the Sun (and trine Moon) for a Mystic Rectangle with the IC-planets more important or it in your opinion? Would both be necessary fills?

Is the Ceres-MC enough for the something that the rest of the chart more or less seems to be screaming at as the empty corner or half, or should something important be placed there as an additional factor still? More so than the Virgo-Scorpio spots I guessed may want something?

What about around 17 degrees Leo, for asteroids Amor-Valentine and Saturn? Or would Amor trine Destinn in a wedge with Saturn prefer something for around 17 Virgo? These as lesser questions no doubt, but looking at it the questions arose in any case.

What about the Grand trine with Moon, Uranus-Jupiter and Saturn at a wider orb? I imagine the something at ~24-25-ish Virgo would fit that as well, but with Saturn at 17 Scorpio, does that stretch a potential orb to 17-25 Virgo or...? Is the Saturn in close enough orb to work as a boomerang (?) for the Moon-Sun-IC sextiles and what does all that want on top then? Wide-ish (close?) sextiles to Saturn? Asking to see how things are seen and what works for what. There are so many patterns in the chart that it gets hard to figure out which ones to fill first after a while, going myopic.

Actually, if you look at Moon-Sun-Saturn, would you expect the something completing to maybe be more so at ~17 Virgo to correspond to the Saturn end, or how do you like the patterns to go? A wider trine to the Sun or a wider sextile to Saturn, which is better?

As a general question, do you take into account something like NN or VX as a *filling* hit or thing on their own? Asteroids? And if yes, which are big enough to qualify when it comes to it?

My 8th Moon would like that...very sensual & flowing. And I lack water so I'm attracted to it. As well, I'm told I could use some grounding energy. The Cancer Sun/Moon I dated was in her 10th house. Very good, grounding energy for me.

I'm definitely not the "wham, bam, thank you ma'am" kind of Sag. Tho, you probably won't go camping with me. ...unless for your 9th house Moon??

LOL! Look at us... our own astrology matchmakers.

I'm glad that you have that 8th House Moon. It adds much needed depth and intrigue to your Aquarian persona!

I do love having a Grand Water Trine - and in the Fire Houses. Makes me highly intuitive.

And sure...my 9th House Moon would go camping with you! Just not on a regular basis. Lol. We can do cabins though. And I'm definitely down to travel and explore the world. I especially want to go to the Caribbean.

Thanks for your feedback, Lee.

I could totally see Water signs + Cap! I don't run into many Cap Sun/Venus males though! It's annoying because I would like to. Lol. I definitely enjoy Scorpio Venus/Mars. I'm open to Cancer/Pisces also...so far so good.

So why Leo or Aqua Moon exactly? At 20 degrees are these two specifically hitting something on my chart? I ask since romantically, I don't bother with these two very much.

I'm not very familiar with mystic rectangle apexes. Will you please elaborate on this for me?

Mike, yes, that interchange between luminaries and ASC/DSC, one has to be in those fixed signs but the other should be in gem/sag

Guys, the main criteria I use is this:
http://www.linda-goodman.com/ubb/Forum35/HTML/000093.html

then I combine it with the other criteria to choose the ideal profile.

I'm very special! I wonder why?? Heh always open to learning more. Interested in what you see which makes the relationships difficult. Can't see myself so clearly.

As for your recommendations... verrry interesting... I've definitely been with a few who had some of those placements... cardinal mars=excellent idea. The fixed mars was a no go.

Starting to think focusing on personal romantic relationships isn't really the most important thing for me this time around though, I dunno. I'm focusing on studying so I can begin a consultation practise and put energy healing therapy I can do to use.
