Lavender,"I don't feel TwinFlame connections are one sided at all... " "The runner certainly does have feelings for the other, but it overwhelms them. They run because of a fear of love/intimacy, not because of unrequited love."
Actually, as surprising it may sound, I think, initially I have been the one running away. Most of all from my own heart and feelings, instead of exploring them, hiding my head in the sand. Persistently. Ironically it was him who noticed me first. Which is just that, attention, nothing more. But definitely more than I was able to cope with at that time. "Some of these cases can be harmless and fun, puppy-love type of attractions that are fleeting, and I wouldn't be too quick to assume those are (all) unrequited either, because we don't really know how the other feels right? "
"And then on the other end of the stick there's the very extreme, unhealthy, obsessive, and possibly dangerous "crushes/fantasies", where those admires can even go up to the point of physically stalking and trying to cause harm to their "object of affection" of even themselves in order to get their attention"
"But of course, then again there's a difference between crushes/fantasies and actually feeling a genuine soul connection with someone without ever having met them before" And sometimes it is really difficult to differentiate between the three options. Stalkers may swear they have found a soulconnection as well. A fine line to walk right here. "Im in a phase of "growing-up" so to speak and preparing for whatever the future might bring, or "planting the seeds" as they say lol.
But for now, I know it may sound a selfish, but its only about me at this point." It is a very vital phase in development. IP: Logged |

BTW, Cappy, I feel the need to rectify this: I didn't say I necessarily met my twinflame, just that I became aware of the existence of the twin soul. Actually, I became aware of the fact that myths and archetypes are reflected in real life. They materialize everyday. For example, you can read the story (or see the movie, which you probably already have) of Aron Ralston you will find in there a major Norse mythology archetype/legend. I'm pretty sure this story takes place in real life, over and over again, right as we speak. And isn't it what we do here, with astrology, projecting archetypes into reality? understanding the archetypes behind it? What made you aware of it?[/QUOTE]I know that is not directed at me, but well, I have always thought it strange, that I always was aware of. Of course I had no clue aobut the myths behind it, but from when I can remember, even being just a little girl, I was fascinated with twins, even more so, I was so convinced I was a twin, or was supposed to be a twin, and for many years I thought my parents were keeping my twin DELIBERATELY from me. I even remember some of my first dreams revolved around me looking, searching for my twinbrother (interestingly I never thought about a twinsister, I was always convinced my twin was a boy). And in one dream I had almost found him, he had been sort of locked up in a tower, but I was too late there, he was already brought elsewhere. It is rather strange I guess for a 5 year old to be so adamant about wanting to have HER twin. In a way though it might have to do with the family history, actually I SHOULD have been a twin, as it would have been my mom`s turn to have twins (there have been some twins in the family story, but different branches of the family tree).
Also it might have been that I really was searching for my uncle in these dreams. Of course I did not know him. He died when he was just 2 years old, and that must have been around 1955 or 1956. his name begin with a P as well, btw. I really have an affinity to the P-names. lol But no, I was really really convinced that someone was deliberately keeping my twin from me (a little blonde boy with twinkling blueish eyes btw), and I was so indignated and accusing my parents to LIE to me and BETRAY me. Well, I also did not understand back then why they would not admit that actually I had been growing up the first years in a castle, why they would deny that we were from aristocracy. I mean I clearly REMEMBERED myself slidding down the stony floor in our homecastle. LOL I was a very imaginative little girl. Of course we are not aristocracy, never owned a castle, and I certainly did not run down the castle`s floors, unles the castle count we visited when I was younger. I did slide along the floors then, and atually remember this little boy running right into me. But mybe that is a "false memory" as well, no matter how vivid. My mom often is astounded when I am talking about childhood memories, saying that THIS has never happened, when I am so certain I have experienced it. It gets confusing and I stopped remembering too much. lol IP: Logged |
