We also have EROS quindecile EROS, which is very active.

In my experience it's a full body orgasm, where all of the chakras are being activated. The literal feeling of having your mind blown comes from the rise of Kundalini to the 7th/crown chakra, and then beyond to the higher chakras outside of the body. It requires both people to be in love, or to at least have a very spiritual connection in order to access the higher chakras. Sex without love is channeling energy through only the lower chakras, satisfying earthy desires. The heart chakra is blocked so the energy cannot go beyond that point. They may still have physically satisfying sex, but the spiritual component will be missing, and that's on a whole different plane of existence. It actually doesn't require a partner, and can be achieved through breath work.

That's my view of what constitutes mind blowing sex, but I'm an earth void with Scorpio and the 8th house dominating my chart. Sex is sacred to me, and is much more a spiritual act rather than physical.

I 'technically' had 'better' sex with my ex, who was umm.. more skilled, shall we say, at certain things? hahah. the only 'sexual' aspect we had too was merc conjunct mars. We did have a Pluto square to Mars. But in the end, sex with him made me feel... icky. I'm not sure how else to describe it. Maybe the saturn square mars we had.

However, the most unforgettable sex for me has been the current guy (duh, I guess). Deep emotional connection to the point where I honestly couldn't tell ya what we were doing (cough) physically... but I remember the daze of being that closely connected. We have mars trine venus in our synastry, and then pluto trine venus and mars. So I guess that explains that connection.

Your post inspires me to say it also matters "when" you have it, for it gets better with age, generally. I mean you feel different about it when you're 20 then when you're 30 or 40, for both men and women, especially for women.

In a very weird twist (that I hope no one will judge me for) during May this past spring, when my current guy and I had broken up (and I was very very devastated), I stupidly agreed to get drinks with the first ex I listed there (the one with whom I technically had 'good' sex but didn't have the same emotional connection). We slept together that month (this was two-three months before current guy and I started talking again), and it was an awful way to realize that what I had with current guy was just so much more powerful on every level.
