Already you're thinking -- well, that's a bold claim. Besides, haven't I heard, there's nothing comparable to the Twin Flame relationship?I have. But I disagree. And, yes. I am a Twin Flame.
It all started after a certain soul connexion and I began an intimate relationship. Now, he was already the epitome of what fit my 'Twin Flame schema': immediate warmth, generosity and no games; genuine, unconditional love and true companionship. He felt like a very evolved and much older soul. I knew I was in the presence of something exceptional and deeply transformative. Life-changing.
But, somehow, I was unable to let go of the notion that I already knew my Twin Flame -- and it wasn't him. Despite everything about our relationship thus far illustrating all that I'd expect from such a bond -- I just knew. Bothersomely, undeniably, knew.
When that was confirmed March of this year, I was compelled to delve more deeply. There had to be something that adequately expressed this relationship of love, caring, companionship, encouragement, devotion, and transformation.
I couldn't find a single thing. Soulmates. Karmic Partners. Near Twins. False Twins. Companion Souls. Completion Souls. Everyone had their own terminology for, essentially, the same thing: the Twin Flame. All else was 'really just a Soulmate.'
Ouch. JUST a Soulmate? It reminded me of one of my dearest soul-brothers teaching me why we should never use the phrase, 'just a friend'. Friends, like Soulmates, are far more incredible than the credit often given them. I also felt terribly hypocritical that I couldn't shut down this nagging voice inside my head which said, 'yes, but no.'
There was something unique about him and our relationship. I knew it. I felt it on every level. I wasn't just mourning the fact that the relationship with my Twin was ashes, desperate to make 'something as good as that'. It was legitimate. But what was it?
One day, I found myself studying all of our charts together; looking at transits and special dates and any correlations.
I couldn't believe I'd missed it.
His MOON on his ASC?
His SUN square his IC/MC?
The SAME NODAL AXIS? (They're almost 20 years apart!)
But the astrological lock was yet to come: my KARMA, his SNODE, and his PLUTO -- all exactly conjunct.
This became SO influential that the day the tSUN was conjunct it was dubbed Karma Day. As for the dates, it was spooky. Their birthdays were always coinciding with particular events; most often, the tSUN would be conjunct my Twin's nSUN on a day which was a personal milestone for my Guardian and I.
Then the 'commonsense test' lock:
When my Twin was only briefly in town for a few hours and was uncharacteristically insistent upon seeing me despite our being rather estranged, it was my Guardian who made it happen, by taking us out there to do so. He snapped the most recent photo we now have.
And, how BIZARRE it is, that they have MET? It boggles my mind; it truly does.
Okay. Now let's get down to brass tacks. I KNEW something was going on -- I just didn't know what. Or how to define it.
That's when I found myself tacking on whatever came immediately to mind. I thought of the role he was attached to play in the project my Twin and I were producing.
My Guardian.
The Guardians were a sort of just-one-down from the Polar Doyens -- which, we quickly realised -- was our fancy SF version of a Twin Flame. There was one per Doyen; they were instrumental in helping them to meet their destiny -- to unite with their Polar Doyen.
Earlier that morning, one of my oldest and most cherished soul-sisters :: waves to Blind writer :: independently had a powerful recall in which she was a Guardian that has somehow failed to arrive to where she was expected. Strangely enough, as she's telling me this, I realise that her perspective is an eerie match to the project in development; as if she was privy to what was happening OUTSIDE my view.
I told her, before I could catch myself, 'yes, we were under attack. I often wondered what happened to the others. I've never known .... '
(I was a member of the royalty, which, is most likely Atlantean. In any case, it was transdimensional.) I didn't know what was literally transpiring as the grounds were being stormed. It all happened SO fast. My Twin had VERY little time to act, too, I would later realise, and could forgive him for what had been a horrible betrayal on an impossibly deep level.
At any rate, that's when I realised -- I wasn't simply pulling 'Guardian' from the air. This was something on BOTH of our soul memories. That was enough of an early independent confirmation to begin research.
But how?
I'd have to start only with what I have: my own.
I think everyone's story is going to differ. There's a darkness and a deep, heavy karma between us. Despite the power and potency of the love we share, there's been that shadow lying across both of our souls, originating from some time long ago.
But, for the time being, I can at least offer the following as a rudimentary and rough checklist to help determine: am I dealing with a Guardian Soulmate?
1 | Are you a Twin Flame?
That's the most essential. I've not yet seen an instance where a Guardian isn't bound to a Twin Flame.
2 | Does your relationship mimic many of the stages and sensations of a Twin Flame Reunion?
I don't mean Running and Chasing; I'm talking about full-fledged unconditional love, devotion, honesty, and compassion. No games. Just love. Whether it's a friendship or a romantic union, there's an overwhelming love that's almost idyllic in its 'innocence'. Passion can be a part of it, but that wasn't my initial reaction. Just love, honesty, and trust. Inexplicably so.
3 | Did you meet after you found yourself at a major crossroads?
This happens a lot. The Guardian's main soul objective is to get us to complete our work, after all. I presumed this MUST be in conjunction with our Twin, but I'm amending that. More research is needed.
4 | It REALLY does feel like a Twin Flame meeting.
11:11, 12:34, and, finally, 1:11 predominating. Telepathy and astral connexions out the wazoo. Once we became physically intimate, I literally am able to feel -- know -- whenever he's near. He 'helps' in the background, too, whenever we're at a distance -- through guidance, support, and direction. I would also have a set of dreams after every time I saw him which showed me another of our past incarnations. (I've counted 27 since January.)
5 | You share a powerful energetic relationship.
Our sexual relationship has been tantric from the beginning, and it developed organically. When we once caught a nap together, I felt lightheaded and 'buzzing' -- he was clearly not dreaming, but projecting. It was frightening at first, but I allowed myself to give myself over to it. It was incredible. He also has an uncanny innate ability to clear my energy field after being intimate. Every time. I feel energised and free of any negativity I'd accidentally acquired.
6 | Your relationship is built upon a solid foundation: honesty, respect, caring, devotion, and empathy.
Think about that one. How many relationships in your life can you honestly say have not had a single instance in which they said something deliberately to cause you pain? Maybe they were overcome with jealousy and passionately lashed out? Played emotional games? Played ANY kind of mind games?
I can say with total honesty that there has been NONE. Zero. He has (literally) defended my honour, goes out of his way to help me with important things that impact my life or development, is the quintessential gentleman, and finally got it through to me that I wasn't getting what I deserved from my intimates. I learnt to expect more, believe fully in myself, and love myself -- genuinely.
... Sounding A LOT like a Twin Flame relationship, isn't it? And yet, it isn't. It's a Guardian Soulmate relationship, and, in my experience, I feel like I'm missing nothing.
If you've hung around this long, let's get to the astrology, and, what I think the origins are of my own. Perhaps it'll prove to be similar across the board. All I have is anecdotal evidence and personal experience: my intuition, soul knowledge and past life recollections.
But I can tell you the one BIG thing that differs from a Twin Flame and a Guardian Soulmate.
You have unresolved karma.
After careful consideration, I see why the popular opinion states that Twins don't have unresolved karma. I'm beginning to agree. Karma, yes. Unresolved? No.
The outstanding karma I have is with my Guardian.
And it may take a lifetime to clear.
