You just nailed VERTEX conjunct MARS, 0°-1°30. Well done! IP: Logged |

VERTEX is insane when it's within 1°. It can act like a giant neon sign. Of course, as Lee asked, there's usually a strong synthesis of many points in a synastry which creates a draw. But I've often found that VERTEX will act like a switch and highlight the nature of the association when a point hits it so closely. IP: Logged |

VERTEX/ANTIVERTEX connections are undeniably powerful, sudden, and unavoidable. All my most important relationships activate my VX axis.my ANTIVERTEX conj KD's VENUS 0°13' my VERTEX conj KD's JUPITER 0°36' my SUN conj KD's ANTIVERTEX 0°49' my VERTEX conj Aubyanne's VENUS 0°10' my VERTEX conj Aubyanne's AC 2°17' my VERTEX conj JH's DC 0°41' my VERTEX conj DS's MC 0°57' my MARS conj DS's ANTIVERTEX 1°35' my VERTEX conj Rou's AC 0°01' I have connections with my parents and siblings if I increase the orb, too. They are in your face, very fast, and intense energies. Fate is at work, when the VX axis is lit up. IP: Logged |

It`s strange for me. I would like to keep the orb tight with Vertex, however there is a wide conjunction of his Venus to my Antivertex. But the orb is 4°21 - a little too wide for my taste. his Venus is also parallel my Vertex, but just barely. His Venus 22°39 S my Avx 21°42 S While this is JUST under 1 degree, in the equivalent chart, the conjunction would have an orb of over 7 degrees, so really wide. As I said Just barely. However his Pluto squares my Vertex by 0°11, (and of course his Pluto squares his own Venus by 4°32, not unbearably tight, but still valid, and I wonder if through his Pluto the conjunction of Venus to AVX gets pulled closer). Interestingly my AVX (1°18) and his Venus (3°03) are falling onto composite Moon, while his Pluto falls onto composite NN (0°47) and composite Mars (1°4)

I think squares have relevance, but I also think they're related to the "skipped step" of the nodal axis. I'd like more research into it honestly, both in natal and in synastry. The nodes are more about individual spiritual growth, while the VX axis is more like the hand of fate. Perhaps it relates to obstacles or boundaries, hurdles flung in the native's path that are possibly insurmountable. Or perhaps that which is already written into stone, already woven into the threads of destiny? Natally, I have my VX widely square SUN 2°16' (???) With KD, I have my VX widely square VX 3°05' (star-crossed?) With Aubyanne, I have my VX square IC 0°35' (soul family) With JH, I have my VX widely square VENUS 2°25' (sapphic) With DS, I have my SATURN square VX 1°48' (spartan teacher) With Rou, I have my VX widely square IC 1°57' (soul shard) Adding parallels: quote: my AVX conj KD's VENUS 0°13' parallel 1°12'54" my VX conj KD's JUPITER 0°36' parallel 0°54'16" my SUN conj KD's AVX 0°49' parallel 0°06'48" my VX conj cJUNO 2°25' parallel 0°53'40" KD's AVX conj cAMOR 1°27' parallel 0°12'15"my VX conj Aubyanne's VENUS 0°10' parallel 0°34'26" my VX conj Aubyanne's AC 2°17' parallel 0°51'47" my VX conj JH's DC 0°41' parallel 0°15'10" my VX conj DS's MC 0°57' parallel 0°21'02" my MARS conj DS's AVX 1°35' parallel 1°11'38" my VX conj Rou's AC 0°01' parallel 0°00'25" cAVX conj cVALENTINE 0°08' parallel 0°02'20"
If anyone has looked into VX squares, I'd love their insights. IP: Logged |

Hmm, I am not sure the squares signify insurmountable obstacles. They are actually the midpoint of the whole axis, so the energy of it all (Yin and Yang of the axis) should be very focused like with a laserbeam there. If you pulled at the VX and AVX with equal strength, the square would be where the force is being released. At least if I payed attention in physics. lol I think squares to an axis are very emphasized hot spots, of course that does nto mean they are easy or smooth, the energy is so dense and concentrated there. A forcefield you have to face, only way to relate to either end of the axis. What that really means, no clue, actually. lol Well natally my Vertex (8th house) is conjunct my EROS (0°30) and PAN (0°27) on 21 Cancer. and conjunct TISPIHONE (1°41) and DESTINN (1°51) on 23 Cancer.
my Antivertex is conjunct Sun/Moon-mp (0°02) and ARTHUR (0°07) and GAWAIN (0°27) - I just love it that two knights of the round table are conjunct exactly in my chart and on my Avx and Sun/Moon-mp, that is why i mentioned them. (and as a matter of fact CAMELOT is trine them by 1°42 and 2°02)-
my Vertex-axis is also squared by
Chiron (1°27) and PHOINIX (1°24) on 20 Aries in my 4th house on the one side and DNA (1°08) MUSA (0°29) SAPPHO (0°38) on 20, 21, 22 Libra in 10th house on the other side. It looks interesting at least. lol

According to Supreme cT, it was he, the planet person, who felt the most magnetised. In my case, however, I the Vertex person, was the most enthralled. It was trine his Sun and sextile his Moon within 1 degree. The vertex also squared his Venus. What do your think these aspects indicated in unison? IP: Logged |

@Ceri - Your VX squares are interesting, for sure! DNA-SAPPHO-MUSA in 10H as a side effect of your "rebirth" is fascinating. In Libra, I sense an inner feminism coming to the fore.My 7H VX is conj ISIS, OSIRIS, MASSALIA, and for fun - JAMES BOND. My fate as a French spy on the hunt for body parts. Excellente. My 1H AVX is conj HELENA, NIOBE, DNA, PANACEA, HERALD, FANATICA, ARTHUR. I love the sabian for my DNA-HELENA - "A Girl Blowing A Bugle". Lo, the spark of war! As for squares: In 10H, HOLMES, UNDINA (water spirit who marries a knight to gain a soul), ODYSSEUS, ANTARES, DARWIN, HELIO, SUN In 4H, NEMAUSA (Celtic spirit guardian of the healing-spring), ASK (Norse version of Adam), ALDEBARAN IP: Logged |

I think Venus opposite Pluto may be the reason for your attraction. IP: Logged |
