The last Czar Nicholas II  and his wife Czarina Alexandra Feodorovna (nče Princess Alix of Hesse, she was a granddaughter of Queen Victoria)  were not only the last monarchs of the Russian Empire but also the parents of the famed and legendary Anastasia (you know...dozens of people claimed to be her...). Czarina Alix also hold disputable relations to the notorious healer Rasputin. The young Czarewitsch married Queen Victoria's granddaughter because he wanted to marry her, because he was in love with her.  It was not an arranged marriage and the union was supposed to be a happy one. They had 4 beautiful daughters and one son.   That's their synastry:  They were all shot by Bolshewiks on July 17, 1918. Beautiful people...the children are gorgeous.Not a very aligned synastry, but some strong attraction contacts. Her Jupiter/Uranus tight shows she was going to marry a foreigner ------------------

I think the synastry somehow shows the difficulties they had.First, Nicholas' mother and Alix did not get along very well. They had disputes due to their different personalites and the mother being "anti-German" Alix had to convert into Orthodoxity to become Tsaritsa of Russia, something she really hated. But the biggest obstacle was that she was carrier of the haemophilia disease, the bleeding disease. So when the only son (after 4 girls - at that point Alix was already unpopular for not being able to bear a heir) was born and when it became evident that he was a bleeder Alix was blamed for that  IP: Logged |

Which then brought Rasputin on the scene It is weird though, I can`t look at images of her without seeing my maternal grandmother (whom I never got to meet, but only know through pictures). The resemblance is remarkable. lol But yes, an interesting unpolitical marriage in politics. They were probablyn ot suited to reign at all. Anyone seen that 12th house there?  IP: Logged |

Nicolas had somebody he was in love with before Alix, but the family made him end it. She wasn't suitable. So while the relationship might have been harmonious, for sure it was arranged.IP: Logged |
