I was always a little concerned that we'd have to be extremely mindful on the prophylaxis side, in the event of a sexual relationship.

This is the guy whom I consider to be my soulmate…

Things turned sour pretty quickly however nothing has come close to the intensity of this relationship for me.

We had a lot of other interesting aspects though imo. Eg- his saturn conj my venus 0.02 orb, his venus trining my sun, moon, mercury and venus + heaps more that I can't remember as I'm still learning about this sort of stuff.

They have moon conjunct mars both ways

Mum- Capricorn Asc, Scorpio sun, Cancer moon, Libra mercury and venus, Scorpio mars.

Dad-Aqua asc, Scorpio sun, moon, mercury, Capricorn venus and Cancer mars.

They have fantastic synastry but at the same time, they have heated arguments and I attribute it partially to this aspect.

My parents are the same. Married for almost 33 years and they have my mom's Mars conjunct my Dad's moon. They argue pretty much daily! My mom gets irritated about something and they start going at each other.

Her moon is square his Mars, and they have other aspects that contribute to this too though I believe...hers Mars is square his Pluto, her Mercury is square his Mars...so she's getting hit from a few different angles (and yes, a marriage can last with these "dreaded" aspects however unpleasant they are).

Despite this, they definitely wasted no time in getting pregnant with me and it happened very quickly!

Also, as people have already said, it manifests as wanting physical touch with the other person. I think the moon feels it more. I feel so comfortable with my bf. Cuddling/spooning is one of our favorite things to do together. He likes to be cuddled like a baby too.

I personally love it (I have Moon/Eros conjunct Venus) with Moon/Eros opposite Mars natally. A direct Mars conjunction to my Moon/Eros/Mars is extremely steamy but also intense & can make the guy overbearing if (unless Saturn or something modifying is also there.)

Mars is my 8th house ruler and in my 8th so I always need some interplay off my Mars for there to be erotic relationship satisfaction. Therefore, the guy's Mars making a conjunction, sextile or trine to my Moon/Mars is actually preferable than his Mars more directly conjunct my Venus which is 6 degrees further away in another duad & doesn't really touch my Eros/Mars. (Venus doesn't rule any relationship houses for me.)

Two of my favorite all time lovers have had Mars either trine or sextile my Moon, exactly opposite each other at Cancer 11'46 and Cap 11'35. My Moon is 12'11 Scorp. It makes our Mars trine or sextile each other but it also creates special magic in the duads.

My Mars is 8'35 Taurus in the Leo Duad with Cancer duad #. So...
My Mars= Taurus/Cancer/Leo
Moon = Scorpio/Pisces/Leo
Venus = Scorpio/Gemini/Scorpio

Ladies/Femmes will be attracted to partners who have Mars in the Duad of their Mars so in my case...Taurus, Cancer and Leo.

Men will be superficially attracted to anyone's Moon who's conjuncts their Mars but particularly romantically & emotionally attracted to Women or yin partner who's Moons are in the sign of their Venus or Moon duads.

So my ultimate Mars for a guy is in Cancer between 10 and 12.5 degrees. Cancer in Scorpio duad in Leo Duad #. Cancer/Scorp/Leo

It covers all the bases and functions multidimensionally like a Mars trine Moon, Mars conjunct Moon, Mars conjunct Venus (I got Scorp Venus), Mars square Moon, Mars opposite Mars & a double dose of Mars conjunct Mars, Mars sextile, trine and square Mars all at the same time!! Cancer is my 10th house and these degrees are widely conjunct my Saturn so there is a Mars/Saturn influence also. This Mars also widely squares my Sun/Pluto.

In the opposite Mars between 10-12.5 Capricorn is in the Taurus duad with Leo Duad Number. So...Capricorn/Taurus/Leo.

So it's like Mars sextile Moon/Venus Mars opposite Moon/Venus, double dose of Mars conjunct Mars again, Mars trine Mars, Mars Square Mars, and Mars square Moon/Venus all at once. This Mars is widely opposite my Saturn and also widely squares my Sun/Pluto and lands in my 4th house so the Mars/Moon theme is magnified yet again. Equally emotionally and sexually compelling but probably a tad more tearful being in the 4th.

Mars between 7-8 Virgo is nice, I've had that before. It ends up in my 12th (7th house ruler) trining my Mars & sextiling my Moon but ends up squaring my Neptune. I don't think I've ever really pulled in Pisces Mars successfully. They're very drifty and dreamy & the 6th house is maybe just blah for me?

My other favorite is Mars in Taurus closely conjunct my own Mars in my 8th or really anywhere from 5 Taurus all the way to just under 20'. Umph. And that works for creating lustiness with either gender. Wooh! 8th house!

Another surprisingly compatible Mars for me is in late duads of Leo which all hook into the above mentioned but don't make any major aspects to my Mars/Moon but rather quintiles or other minor aspects. I have asteroid Lust there, it sextiles my Uranus/Mercury (chart & 5th house ruler) and ends up in my 11th so the connection seems more fun, friendly and breezy than gut level primal on the 2nd/8th axis.

Anything hitting my VE/MA midpoint in Aquarius works also since it squares my Moon/Venus midpoint (and it's in my 5th house) & close to my Part of Marriage however, can't say I've had any lasting relationships with a guy's Mars or Moon along that Aqua/Leo axis. Too many direct squares back & forth to be comfortable. (Really don't like Moon square Moon.) I have attracted the Sun & Ascendant there quite a bit and enjoy the Leo/Aqua Mars a lot with female friends in the 11th/5th where we don't have to be super close on a daily basis. (It lends a lot of spark & fun.)

His ex of 3 years shared the same mars therefore making a conjunction his moon in their synastry.

Fastforward, We’ve been together 2 years and my mars squares his moon.

He has said nothing is hotter.

The square creates more friction, which he likes being Moon-mars natally.

Our fights become almost unbearable, but he loves the challenge and excitement of it all.
