You don't even want to know. LOL I've had it as double whammy... along with Venus conjunct Moon...It's been 6 months and I am still recovering from the sweet damage I've heard that it can be irritating and aggressive for the moon...but no, I have not found this to be the case at all. It's sensual, close, and wonderful. It's supposed to be weird with a woman's Mars on the man's Moon...but not really, I think it just makes it all the more mutual. Her Mars is her ideal man in a sense. His moon is partially the feminine ideal...they meet, and it's lovely. Either way it goes IP: Logged |

Very. Had this one with my ex, my mars sat on his moon. And meanwhile, his mars was merely in the same sign as my moon (in virgo). I have very little regrets about this aspect of my relationship, and I can say that I know the energy of it so well that I'm almost 99% sure that I share this with someone I used to work with last summer. I just *know* it! (I never extracted this person's birthdate *headdesk* )IP: Logged |

i hv heard that some astrolgers use uptil 15 deg for sun and moon synastry....si i was thinking maybe with moon and mars as one is luminary and other personal planet we can go upto 8 as opposite to general 3-5 deg for synastryIP: Logged |

Yep Mars and moon together certainly get you all hot and bothered in synastry.I also agree with the increased fertility inclination-for better or worse. The mars person tends to really burn for the moon..or at least in my experience, mind you it fell in both of our respective 1st houses. (girl moon, boy mars) IP: Logged |

i think 15 is too big. i've read as 9 being the cut off. and i think depending on the planets you can go a little wider than 5 or less.IP: Logged |

<<<<Her Mars is her ideal man in a sense. His moon is partially the feminine ideal...they meet, and it's lovely. Either way it goes>>>I can sooo relate. My Mars and his Moon in Leo. Ahhhhhh. It was heaven for 6 months. Dramatic, yes, but like theatre in heaven. **Edit** Oh yes! And my Moon and his Venus in Taurus. Another man, another 6 month period. Amazing. But not quite the same as Moon/Mars. I think Moon/Venus is more reliable but Moon/Mars has more potential. IP: Logged |

Heh that's 'cause you've clearly graduated to the next level and you get your moon-mars aspects extra kinky.(..unless you meant something else by *hard* aspects..) IP: Logged |

does moon opposite mars have the same attraction potential? And in your experience is it moon or mars who feels the 'pull' more strongly? IP: Logged |

I have it with someone, his Moon is conj my Venus/Mars and opposite my Pluto he used to be both manipulative and hard-edge with me until I got sick of it and tried to get rid of him but he has always been increadibly stubborn in his coming back so I finally set up some rules and we are friends now ... had I been in love with him he would have hurt me very , very much .... so no...I dont think Mars conj Moon in synastry is hottIP: Logged |

It's so weird. I met this guy on Saturday night at a friend's place. He's not my type at ALL and not someone I would normally hang out with or talk to if I were out. When talking to him, I felt immediately at ease, and comfortable, and when I leaned over and brushed passed him, it was like a magnet or something. I just wanted to be CLOSE to him, so I kept finding reasons to touch him! LOL! SO WEIRD!!! The rest of the night, he was holding my hand, and had his arms around me, as if we'd known eachother for years. I've had this strange sensation in my chest ever since and I can't stop thinking about him. I looked up our synastry and behold, his moon is 2 degrees from my mars, and 5 degrees from my Venus both in Taurus. I wonder if he felt anything? Sad thing is, it can't go anywhere cause it turns out he's my friends's new roommate! There are so many ways that could turn sour, if/when it were to end badly. Oh too bad. Well maybe we can be JUST FRIENDS! So those of you who were the moon person, do you think the attraction was as strong as the mars person, or less?

lara.....the upto 15 deg orb is for luminary conjuctions only,i guess anaf....its the mars person who is more expressive and demonstrative in relationship...... gemgemgem.......i think moon person also feels the attrcation but mars is more direct and initiates the relationship.....and now that u talk abt yr feelings....i hv my mars conjcut with someones moon....(8 deg orb, in his 8th house...in taurus) and from the v start i felt so at home with him, and there was this attraction ....which pulled me towards that person....like he is home....well there r lot of other aspects too

GemGem, I'd definitely say he felt it. The moon FEELS. I think there's a theory I read somewhere that the more personal planets/luminaries feel the influence first. So yeah. Since I had it in a DW, I can't tell. But the moon usually feels the desire/comfort/discomfort/whatever.IP: Logged |
